the size is smaller than the description by more than an inch, but it seems like a nice product. I returned because it wasn't the size I need.

This trivet is awesome and matches my bamboo accessories for the kitchen and dining room! I love having a big enough trivet (7 3/4" x 8") to throw a casserole dish on when I’m cooking. We normally leave on top of the stove because I don’t want to burn my table. This trivet is about .25” thick and is the perfectI really like that I can leave it on the table all of the time; it actually replaced a round bamboo place mat that I had been using for display. This is a super cute little bamboo trivet. It is lightweight and perfect on my table next to all my bamboo serving ware. I have had several people ask where I purchased it, and I'm glad to recommend this product to them. Works Great (for what I use it for)
Yes, this mat meets my expectations, but I need I need to say that I do not use this as a Hot Mat. I keep a sugar bowl and creamer container, along with a spoon rest, on the mat next to my Kureg. Since I don't use the mat for hot items I can't review it for that purpose.

Works like a charm
This hot mat works really well. I bring it to work to put hot bowls/plates on so as to not damage my wooden desk. Its the perfect size for a large bowl or regular plate.

Sorry product
Terrible, looks like a damaged 2 dollar item, mine came with the packaging open, all the bamboo parts are either cracked or chipped. Not worth the hassle to return it. Waste of $$.
