Lactinol HX Moisturizing Cream, 4 Ounce

Pedinol (Lactinol HX) Moisturizing Cream (4 oz) is a very good moisturizer that is absorbed well and it isn't sticky as some of the other lotions and creams used to be that contained alpha-hydroxyacid. It is unscented but it has a slight scent of what smells like coffee or caramel to me, but it is a pleasant odor. This moisturizing cream reminds me of the LacHydrin creams and lotions that are available now under the name Amlactin and others without prescription and that are great exfoliators for the skin, as well. I used to use these in the past, but only with a prescription from my dermatologist. Thankfully, now Amazon carries a fairly wide variety of these great products.Not only are these good for dry skin, especially on the feet and hands, but they are good for those little age spots on hands that I've found eventually go away with the use of products such as Lactinol HX. That was why the dermatologist gave it to me in the first place. Skin stays soft and I think my nails stay in better condition, too. Great product that you might pay a little more for, but you get a lot in return for the purchase.Increases your skin's sensitivity to the sun, so read the label carefully!

The water where I am is very chlorinated and dries out my normal but a little sensitive skin. I have never had dry skin issues before so when I started developing xerosis (excessive dry, scaly skin), I was a bit freaked out. I started getting these patches of scaly skin on my lower legs and regular lotion was not doing the trick. This Pedinol has been working and is clearing up my xerosis. It's been almost 2 weeks and I see a noticeable difference however, it has not cleared up fully. The lotion is very thick and doesn't smell nice but it does the trick. 4 oz. does not seem like a lot but you don't need very much at each application (dosage states twice daily).

I have had eczema for many years. When I found this product, I was skeptical at first if it would make any difference. It makes a huge difference in the treatment of the eczema. The itching, redness and scratching have greatly diminished. I use it liberally twice a day. Be warned though, it will burn on open cracks in the skin. While not a cure, it has contributed to my eczema receding to just a small, easily managed area.

I love this stuff. It leaves my skin soft like nothing else I have ever tried. The only reason that I did not give it five stars is that it is way too expensive.

i have dry skin at the bottom of my feet, and it really works, more effective than anything i tried, even baby oil. the true test is in the summer time when i don't wear socks.

This moisturizer was suggested to my by my podiatrist. This non-prescription product replaces a previous prescription given by him for extremely dry skin on my feet. I works very well, and is easier to use than the prescription since it is thicker and creamier, less likely to drip during use,

use twice a day and keeps my feet soft and out of the doctors office . you wont be disappointed
