The driest of our fruit wines, this light red Damson Wine is smooth and soft on the palate. Enjoy on it's own or blended with your sparkling wine of choice for a touch of elegance. Review: Delicious - This wine was really delicious. It reminded me of the old fashioned fruit wines that my gran uused to make. Having said that it wasn`t `sickly`fruity and you knew you were drinking a really good wine. It is our 4th anniversary and in modern listings a gift of flowers or fruit is the usual gift. I decided to interpret the `fruit` in both this damson wine and also a bottle of the medium sweet `Blackberry` wine. Both were excellent and I will choose to buy these for gifts for anyone who enjoys wine with a difference. Packaged well and fast delivery. Thank you. Not worth the money
The wine not taste anything like damson,I have had other brands which was much better.

Damn-son!
A good damson but not the best I've tasted, still, far from the worst and lanchester always seem to make good wines regardless of the kind.
