Can command hooks support their weight?

You could hang these with a tack. The set I received isn't heavy at all. Yes, its "heavy duty", but weight wise nothing for sheetrock.

Does this come in a gift box?

Mine came in a small “brown bag” colored box. It would be suitable if you are giving it as a gift

How thick the metal parts?

This is made BEAUTIFULLY! It’s not cheap thin metal at all. You’ll be pleasantly surprised how heavy and well made this is.

Can this be used to hang small pictures with clips?

In between the moon cycle, I am positive you can .
