This camera is great! I had the Olympus TG-5 but lost it last year so I replaced it with the TG-6. This camera produces great pictures in and out of the water. The attached pictures were taken within 10 ft depth and the shell was taken immediately after lifting the camera from the water. I was using automatic settings and the pictures have not been retouched in any way (although I likely will when I have the time). The Manta was taken at night with down lights from the boat we were diving off of. Clearly the more light the better however this camera auto focused very quickly and took crisp shots even when it was difficult to keep the camera steady while moving around in the surf. The videos I took were also very good and the mic still picks up the sounds while submerged. The only issue is that while using the zoom feature the mic picks up the motor noise but that can be mitigated in post. I couldn't be happier as this camera has far exceeded my expectations especially for the price.

Lens do not work with this camera!
Camera is great, however no manual and to find 1 you need to add yet another app to your computer. This should have an easy download print botton added to this page. Lens that come in this kit do NOT work with this camera. I recommend checking others out.

Quite a camera for just a "point and shoot."
Great Christmas gift for the college age kiddo, tons of accessories, very sharp camera.

Sturdy, durable camera but the filters and adapter don't fit
I bought this as a work camera for our surveying crews and environmental scientists. They needed a camera that was easy to use and could withstand getting dropped in dirt/mud, thrown on a truck seat, and is waterproof when they fall in a stream. The camera came with a kit that has every imaginable doodad, but the filters and extra lenses are a disappointment; they don't fit and the adapter that was included doesn't either. I wanted to add the UV filter since they're shooting outdoors and to protect the camera's lens, so it's a big drawback that they don't fit. The free case is too small for all of the equipment, it's like a tiny little lunchbox. I paired this with a waterproof camera card from elsewhere on Amazon, and the crews seem to like it a lot. Bonus that it's red, so it's easy to spot when they drop it in tall grass.

I'm happy I purchased this package. The kit was missing a part so, I let the company know and they were on top of it to replace it. Highly recommend

LOW-INTEGRITY MERCHANT
Problem with PRODUCT: I purchased the Olympus Tough TG-6 Camera because of it’s high ratings as a durable camera including ‘Waterproof-rated to IPX8 for use underwater to depths of 50 feet’. I carefully read the use instructions and used the camera as instructed in shallow water (less than 5’) on a vacation at the beach. Water got in and the camera stopped working- (this all happened in the first few days of use). I filled-out a service request at Olympus’ website and received no response.Problem with MERCHANT- SSE Photo & Video: I had purchased the camera thru Amazon from SSE Photo & Video. The return options listed on the website required I return the camera & all accessories (no option to simply swap for a new camera only). After we sent the camera back I received notification that the merchant would be charging a restocking fee $194.50. I called SSE’s customer service number and was told that the restocking fee was a mistake, and they would credit the balance of the return to my credit card (but to allow 3 to 5 business days). I checked my CC the following week and found no credit. I called SSE again- this time I was told that the ‘re-stocking fee’ was due to ‘User-Inflicted-Damage’ which was not covered by warrantee. Essentially, I must have not sealed the battery door properly because water got in. It was an SSE technician which made that call (unsure of any actual position from Olympus).I absolutely guarantee that I had sealed the battery door prior to use per user-manual. SSE’s position seems to be that the camera will not fail unless it is the fault of the user. I have engaged in 2 fruitless phone calls with SSE and they refuse to change their position. I am in the process of working thru Amazon and then will appeal to my credit card company for relief. I would recommend caution with this camera and steer-clear of SSE Photo & Video.
