Luxurious & Prevents Drying of Hair & Skin These are so luxurious. I love how they feel, but only splurged on them after I saw how dramatically a silk bonnet reduced the frizziness in my hair. It made me realize how much moisture my cotton pillow cases were pulling from my hair, so I thought my skin would also benefit from the silk. I was right! My face is noticeably less dry with these. Thinner vs Thicker Mulberry Silk The only difference between the thinner & thicker versions of this case is the feel of luxury & that it feels like it will last longer. I started with the thinner version from this same company, which is a good thing because I would have never spent this much on a pillow case had I not already experienced the benefits of silk. Now I have bought a 2nd of these, thicker, more expensive cases so that if I wash my sheets too late in the day for the pillow case to dry before bed, I don't have to have frizzy hair & dryer facial skin. I carry the thinner version when I travel so my face isn’t dried out, & also use it when exercising on the floor (with no pillow inside) to reduce hair frizziness. Size & Color I got the standard size & in black. I utilize blue light blocking glasses in the evening, as well as red or amber bulbs in lamps, then these black pillow cases in bed & am often enjoying sleep like a child. (I’m 64.) Silk vs Satin Silk is very different from satin. I don't like satin at all because it is too hot & sticky all year. If I get a little warm in the night, I flip my mulberry silk covered pillow over, & it feels so cool & comfortable. Even if I get very hot, the silk is not sticky or uncomfortable. Silk is such a strange material. Since it's cool in summer, you'd think it would be cold in winter, but it isn't, even though I let my house get down to 63º in the winter. I love sleeping on this silk pillow case all year. Quality. Washing & Drying They are so well made. I wash my bedding weekly. I put these only with other delicate items in the washing machine on Delicate & Quick (40 minute wash) with cold water. I use a mild fragrance free detergent (Biokleen Free & Clear) with a little vinegar in the fabric softener dispenser to remove any excess soap & kill germs. Then they are hung to dry indoors. They dry quicker than cotton too. I am careful with them - zipping & unzipping slowly; folding back the zipper before slowly removing or inserting the pillow. I don't know if these precautions are necessary, but this is a lot of money for something I've come to enjoy too much to want to do without. I'm writing this in May of 2025. I got my first silk pillow case from Zimasilk (the thinner version) in December of 2023 & washed it weekly for a year. It still looks & feels great. December of 2024 I got this thicker version & have washed it weekly.

This pillow case is real silk slippery smooth and luxurious, i got the 25 momme and it is thick and heavy very nice quality. The only thing I would say you need to consider is sizing up, I have a standard pillow but I got a queen pillow case with the idea that I would upgrade my pillow later, it fits perfectly so I would definitely size up. The zipper is perfectly concealed and the seams are sewn very well making tge whole thing very smooth, that smooth slippery texture combined with the weight of the 25 momme makes this pillowcase feel like holding water. I haven’t noticed any excess wrinkles, being silk it will of course wrinkle but I find simply smoothing my hand over it makes them go away. Between buying this single pillowcase and shipping I spent about $66 usd, and I’m very happy with my purchase I’m considering getting another one

I love this pillow case. It is a thick and silky.The quality is much better than pillow cases I have bought in the past. I follow the washing instructions and it has held up beautifully. Well worth the price.

This is my first encounter with pure silk bedding - and what a luxury experience this is! The fabrics feels so good against skin. I love this pillowcase and look forward to going to bed and laying my head down on the pillow! Can definitely tell this is not polyester - so worth the money!

Really nice feeling fabric that’s damn near comparable to some of the super high end options out there. I do question why at 25 momme this feels comparable to the 22 momme fabric of those higher end picks, but at this price it’s a really nice option. The only potential qualm might be the single stitch on the seams, but only time will tell if that comes into play before I wear through the material.

The silk this pillow case is made from is exceptional! It is a pricey item up front, but it is worth every cent because it is a thick silk that will do it's job for a long time to come.

I've bought and returned several silk cases, but finally found these and I love them. They are absolutely real silk and so very soft. I can tell the difference between my 19 momme pillowcases and the 25, the 25 momme are noticeable thicker and higher quality. I try and be careful with the zipper, that's the most delicate part and hope it holds up. I wash my silk pillowcases in a mesh bra bag, in the washing machine on delicate cycle, using woolite. I then dry them on low heat for 5-10 minutes to knock out most of the wrinkles and hang them up to finish drying. So far, it's worked well.

Very nice. Feels a little less substantial than Fishers Finery, but the price is a lot lower, so will definitely do. Note: has a zipper, which I find better than a tuck-in flap.

It has had zero impact on my skin or hair over the months but is very soft, thick and smooth, a pretty colour and it washes really well. It feels like a quality product when you open it and it remains a very nice item after months of use.

Within 2 days of sleeping on it I started getting hives on my neck and shoulders. I don’t know if it’s the dye that they use or the “silk” but I had to throw it out. Very disappointed.

High quality, excellent stitching and finish. it doesn't loose the shine like other brands. Highly recommend.
