I purchased this when I travel about in rural communities with no street lamps, no regular roads. The battery pack is about the size of two packs of gum placed side by side and approximately 1/4-1/2" thick. Powered by an included micro USB cable. I had it on all day & some of my friends were literally stunned! It came folded vertically (DON'T FOLD IT WIDTH WISE, the fiberoptics will be severed).
