Owleez, Flying Baby Owl Interactive Toy with Lights and Sounds (White), for Kids Aged 6 and Up

First off, my kids don't like to play with most toys. They like boxes, jumping around, and imagining games up. Even with knowing this, my husband and I still try to find toys that will keep their attention. With that being said, my daughter cannot stop playing with this since yesterday morning (Christmas). She has been taking it everywhere and absolutely adores it. It has really cute features and it is a virtual "pet" that needs to be taken care of. The flying is an interesting part which both my kids love to watch. As other reviewers said, it can be loud, but it's not that loud in my opinion. It does fly pretty high and all over the place, but if your child guides it, that is helpful. Overall, I am extremely happy with this purchase and my 5 year old daughter LOVES it.

Our daughter loved playing with her Owleez. The overall guide to learn how to take care of her owleez was easy enough for our nine-year-old daughter to set it up herself. She Absolutely loved taking care of her owl everyday. The cheat guide as we like to call it was easy to reference to if we didnt know what the owl needed per the owls eye color. As a parent I loved not having to buy batteries as its rechargeable by plug in. My daughter has been video chatting her friends showing them her new owl toy as well as having her best friend over to try it out as well. This owleez was a hit in our house. I do recommend using the flying mode outside as you'll have better luck not flying into something in your house. If you know of a child who enjoys taking care of animals this is a perfect gift for them. I'd highly recommend this as a gift. Even as a parent it reminded me of one of my favorite toys as a child the Furby. My daughter and I enjoyed playing with this toy.

We recently received Owleez in white and my kids (5 & 7) were immediately drawn to its cute appearance and many interactive features. Thankfully it charged pretty quickly using its included USB cable. I love that the cable is attached to the nest so there's no chance of kids losing it. At first it reminded me of one of the "Fingerling" toys because of the interaction, nurturing, and noises but the features of the Owleez exceed that of other toys we have tried. The color changing eyes and included instructions make it easy for kids to understand what it wants and my kids particularly enjoyed the color changing game it plays. As for the flight feature, while it is certainly impressive and something we've never seen before, my kids are actually a bit scared of it. They enjoyed "teaching" him to fly and wanted to try it several times for him to get better but each time it actually took off, my kids got nervous about how to catch or guide it. My 7 year old said it seemed like a drone. It can also be a little challenging to find a space in your house for it to fly. So far it hasn't crashed into anything except the floor and it is very lightweight but I worry about it hitting the TV or a lamp. The instructions say that it does get better at flying with more practice so maybe we will figure that out more as we continue to play with it. Overall, I think it is a pretty cool little toys best suited for kids 8-10 years old.

Fantastic flying feature! When we first opened the Owl we thought it was going to be similar to other popular digital pets but the flying feature definitely sets this one apart. The kids practiced all of the different modes and the first time the owl took off in the flying mode they jumped up and down with excitement. The only issue is coordinating the landing and re-charging frequently after a few flights. We think this toy is still a winner and will continue to entertain the kids for a while with its flight feature. The other modes are cute but simple, it makes cute sounds and the kids liked the lullaby and when it said “I love you”. The owl also had gas and sometimes gets frustrated when it can’t fly which is cute! The cons are that after flight the wings can jam but parents can put it back easily. Unique toy and would highly recommend

We received this as a gift and It’s a really cool flying toy just be sure to make sure it’s charged all the way before trying it or it won’t fly. It’s very comparable to the hatchimal toys but this one is far better and not annoying. It promotes a nurturing quality and lets children know what it needs by the color changing eyes. It really gets the kids thinking of feelings. It comes with a guide so that the kids can read what each eye color means and how they can help their owl. It also comes with a base for charging and a chord to plug into an outlet. Overall it’s a cute gift.

Terrible… I think I got a used one… 1st it never worked (not once) and 2nd the box didnt come with instructions as it says, and the package looked pretty old… Paid like $150 for something I will have to throw away…

There's only one thing that is hard to do with this owl and that's gettin it to fly. It will not just fly for you. You must actually train it to fly lik a real owl has to learn to fly. It took me 3 months until I finally was able to get it to fly but beware....just because you get it to fly 1, 3, 7 or 15 times doesn't mean the next time you want it to fly, it will actually fly for you. Sometimes this owl seems so real when it comes to the different things it can do and the different things it can actually learn from you teaching it how to do things.

Kids have had a blast playing with this owl who shows emotions with when petted, played with, fed, etc. It does not fly far but builds their excitement when they know it is going to take off.

As a birthday present to my gal. She loves it very much. Initially it is a bit hassle to make it fly.. after few tries it is eventually successful..

È stato un regalo molto gradito. Funziona come un uccello/drone che vola molto basso senza poterlo però direzionare. Fa versi di gufo piacevoli che di uccellino addomesticato. Gli occhi si luminano di vari colori.

Niña de 6 años encantada con este juguete. Estuve a punto de regresarlo porque no volaba bien hasta que leí en el instructivo que se trata de enseñarle a volar. Muy bonito, buena calidad.
