Big improvement over stock extruder!
This extruder pulls the filament thru without crushing, or deforming it. Easy to install by watching the video on the site. You MUST REDO your esteps for this product. My Stock estep was 94, but with this one it's 135. The dual gears are smaller in diameter, so more turns are needed for same length of filament. There are many videos on youtube on how to do this. Easy install and calibration.

Works well give it a try.
Well so far it is working very well. It pulls really good with no slipping so far. There is no instructions which always makes me mad. I can assemble about anything but I know some people cannot. One warning on the gear assembly that is ready to go do not over tighten the bolt or you will lock the gear up. The gear that goes on the stepper shaft should have two set screws instead of one. You will have to make sure the gear on the stepper motor aligns at the same height as the other one or it may not pull right. This is worth the money because if you get a roll of pla that has the diameter too small this will make up for it.

Drop-in replacement for CR10 this is not, E-steps need redone
So I want to try and be fair to this product as the build quality is very good, however I thought since this was made for the CR10 I could just bolt it in and get printing and that would be that. The fact that this item comes without directions is unacceptable, make a YouTube video or a PDF if you don't want to include printed directions but it needs instructions. The one thing I wanted to make clear is this requires modified E steps in order to work properly. I was under-extruding by 30% after installing this. Because the CR10 cannot load new firmware this became an issue, one that I solved by adjusting E-steps in my slicer but some might not be comfortable with that. Other than that the extruder works very well, which is why I gave it 4 stars, but it is not as simple as bolting it on and away you go.

Totally Solved or print failures!
Could not figure out why after dozens of good prints, they all started to fail 1/2 way thru. Found out thru a youtube video that the plastic tensioner supplied with the printer is prone to fail and crack where you can't see unless you remove it. Same identical crack, same location. Researched aluminum tensioners and upgraded to the duel tensioner! Everything is back to normal. During installation of the new aluminum tensioner you should pack the bearing with grease to extend the life of the unit!

This is easy to install. Once the E-steps were recalibrated it works great.
I am new to 3D printing and have had great luck with my Ender 3pro. I wanted a dual gear drive extruder because I think it is a better way to feed filament. Even though it was a relatively easy install I do wish some instructions came with it and they should warn folks that the E-steps per millimeter will have to be adjusted in the firmware.

Missing bearing
If you purchase this make sure to take the drive gear out of the level section and check for 2 bearings. Mine was missing a bearing which causes the extruder to be extremely noisy. Now I need to find a second bearing to put in there. Outside of that works just fine.Update to review. Zeelo was very responsive and quick to resolve my issues. 5 stars deserved for outstanding customer service on a simple supply chain error. Pleasure to do business with.

No under or over extrusion. No slip.
This fixes the slip that causes under or over extrusion. This is the right one to get for an ender 3 and a must have for perfect prints.

Good entry level upgrade
Good dual drive upgrade for any printer, it performs really well for the money. For printers that are high volume... probably won't last, with out some tweaking. Idle gear needs a set of washers to prevent it from cutting up the soft aluminum arm. Yes it is anodized but it is not hard anodized so the anodizing is just for looks. I've run 10lbs of filament through it and I've worn a groove in the arm deep enough for me to consider printing a reworked replacement that has a set of washer faces on the arm. I would buy this again just for the set of gears.

Works great. Improved print quality.
A bit confusing to install and calibrate, but once finished it seems to have greatly improved print quality. Is also easier to change filament now than with the stock Ender 3 extruder.

Great for first week, very bad long term
This extruder will self destruct over time...There is some tricks to make it last longer (like printing a plastic washer every 2 days) but it's a very temporary solutionI tried to put the gear a bit higher, but the problem persist.DO NOT BUYIf you really want a metal extruder, the Creality one seems great, it's my next buyIf you really want a dual gear extruder, don't buy this, or anything with a similar design, this is crap

Very strong stable and dependable extruder
Very strong stable and dependable extruder. Some notes: Black powder residue eventually shows up after a while of printing and probably comes from extruder gear grease probably not something to be worried about. Filament residue eventually piles up at the filament inlet as it scrapes during printing due to extrusion and retraction.

Needs firmware adjustments, but that's easy....
This replaced another aluminum extruder I had as I wanted Dual feed gears. For the Ender 3V2, you need to know two things:1) the feed is 5mm higher than the standard, so if you have something like a filament sensor before your extruder and it's lined up, you need to redesign.2) the steps/mm needs to be changed from whatever you are at to about 140.Otherwise, I'm thrilled.
