Almased Almond-Vanilla Meal Replacement Shake - Protein Powder for Weight Loss, 500 g

5 stars for the product. 0 star for despatch and delivery. Product is an effective, filling weight-loss product. Almond flavour is the best and I like to add additional flavour. I have the shake 4 to 5 times a week at lunch time and I feel full for about 3 hours. I have tried other shakes from other ranges and I found this one to be the best. In 3 months I have lost about 7kgs which includes healthier eating at other meals. It was a disappointing experience when I ordered 2 units and when they were delivered, the lid was missing on the one and the foil was damaged and contents spilled inside box. How this was allowed when it was despatched is beyond me and it seems checks/controls are inadequate. They were replaced but I had to pay courier costs when it wasn't my fault. Since then I have been buying the product from the high street pharmacy and it's been hassle free.

Fantastic - 2 of these a day made with water and a teaspoon of unsweetened cocoa powder each time at breakfast and dinner (healthy high protein lunch of egg and mackerel salad with beans) and on Day 14 I have lost 4.5 kg. Not drinking any alcohol. As always, alcohol should be limited when trying to lose weight. I tried once with milk and found it too sickly as the product has skimmed milk powder in it anyway so with water it's thick enough and looks and tastes just like a chocolate milkshake once a teaspoon of cocoa powder (unsweetened) is added and blended. Also exercising (walking and 30-40 mins hatha or power yoga daily). Really fantastic - don't feel hungry at all because of the high protein content and no cravings for sweet things or any other bad stuff. If you are determined to lose weight, Almased will work for you. Amazing and safe healthy product. So happy I discovered it.

I was doubting that I would like this but in fact it surprised me to be a lot nicer than expected. Easy to make too even without a shaker!

I liked because it is very tasteful. I put some chia seeds with water one hour before and I add Almased… but I am hungry in the same way after taking it.

After a rocky start.....where I misread 2 tsp for 2tbsp of olive oil to add (no graphics needed!) I have to say this works. I am female just on top of my ideal BMI but most comfortable 1 1/2 stone lighter (Just under middle of ideal BMI) I don’t find it delicious, but with the addition of 2 tsp of cocoa it’s good. However, the huge plus is I feel great on it, no jitters that I experienced with 2 days of slimfast (couldn’t do a 3rd day) and I feel much leaner and have bags of energy. Using the starting dose of three shakes and a soup a day I lost 2 lbs every other day. Now on two shakes and a meal and losing about 3 lbs a week. As recommended on the enclosed diet plan when I get down to my ideal weight I will swap to two meals and 1 shake for a couple of weeks and then just have one as a snack a day. It’s great to have found something that is easy and works.

Undrinkable and possibly one of the most vile products I’ve come across. Tried with water and milk - all latter does is make it thicker thus the experience of trying to drink it even less pleasant. I eat super healthy and this was purchased purely to support my vegan diet with protein/vitamins. While some reviewers say its taste is because it’s natural and healthy, I found it to have a distinctly artificial taste. My advice is don’t waste your money as there’s no refund or return. You’re probably better of trying something available in supermarket/high street so you can taste test it before potentially investing in expensive landfill.

So relieved that this arrived undamaged. To be honest, I only ordered it from Amazon as I'd left it too late to order it somewhere else at a cheaper price - and that's because I wasn't sure if I'd be able to stick with it long enough to order more. The taste is very subtle - not repulsive but not delicious. It's not full of rubbish which is why Almased trumps a lot of the other meal replacement shakes available. There's a fair amount of science backing Almased's success and it really does work. At the end of one week of 3 shakes and a vegetable soup per day, I've lost over half a stone. It does take a fair bit of willpower of course, but hunger pangs and sugar cravings have been much lower on this programme than with any other of the many 'diets' I've been on. Not the cheapest, but probably the best.

I have bought this product on two previous occasions with no problems, so decided to stock up with three canisters for the next few weeks. However, when I opened the box on delivery today, all three packets had been damaged and the contents had been spilled out into the case. There was no inner packaging to protect the canisters during transit, hence the major damage. It’s very disappointing, and given the cost, extremely wasteful. I’m happy with the product and the flavour is good as I like almonds, and it seems to be working, but I didn’t expect to have to try and recover the contents spilled all over the inside of the outer box. I am reluctant to re order from Amazon.
