I bought eight of these lights at first and then bought eight more later. These lights are easy to install in the ground with the supplied stakes. I repositioned the stakes a few times and they are surprisingly durable. I placed the stakes individually with a rubber hammer. Then installed the longer stem that came with it(there is one long and one short stem that comes with each light). Tightened the nuts on the lights and pressed the button on the back of the solar panel to activate each light. Then I aimed the light at the tree trunk by tightening the adjustment knob, and pivoted the solar panel toward the sun. On the low intensity setting which gives off a warm soft glow, the lights that I installed in March and April of 2020 in my Northern California home turn on automatically when it’s dark and lasts more than 8 hours at night(even the ones that don’t receive full sunlight or in the shaded section of the front and back yards seem to stay on more than 8 hours). I know because I woke up one night around 4 in the morning to take medication and saw the lights were still on.

I have had these lights for 6 months. Overall, I am happy with them. They seem to charge well enough to last about 6ish hours. The problem is that there is a very fragile point in the frame coupling near the panel itself. Using as little effort as gently maneuvering the light, I have had 2 of 4 snap. Probably something super glue can mend. I would still consider buying more because of the quality of the LED and time it stays on. However, I would be ready with the glue.

I love them. I bought two boxes of four and I just ordered one more box. They light up the trees perfectly.

I have been using these floods for a couple of weeks now so while I cannot speak to the durability just yet, I am extremely happy with the results so far!!! (see the picture). In fact the most surprising thing is that when I open the door in the morning, they are still lit! I have never had solar lights that last most of the night. Also, I like the fact you can rotate the solar panel to face the sun at whatever point is most advantageous. After I bought a set of 4 to test them out, I bought an additional set of 4. I was that happy. I only wish they made them in other colors like green or blue.

Received them on July 16. Set them up in my yard a couple of days later. One of the 4 never worked. Of the other three, only one is still working. They were expensive and did not last, 2 only lasted 5 weeks, one never worked at all. Not worth it. Very disappointed.

these are the best solar lights we have found, they are very bright and last a long time can be mounted on a house or other building or used on the ground to accent pathways etc

Initially, I was worried about the brightness but these meet our standards! They are not as bright on cloudy days but that is a given since they are solar-powered. They last about 6-8 hours when fully charged. Great for security and curb appeal. (warm white) ***** Update 5/22/23*** Bought 8 of these in 2021 and most of them have held up, however, 2 of them have completely died on me and a couple of the others have fallen apart so I had to glue them in different spots. Overall they are decent lights but be prepared to buy more every two years. I wish they had better customer support/ better warranty. I messaged the seller and this is the response: "Hello, friend I'm sorry to hear that. First, the average lifespan of solar lamps is 2-3 years; Second, our solar lights will be replaced free of charge for another 180 days. I'm sorry that I couldn't help you. Wish you a happy life. JSOT"
