**Q: Full tang? Or rat tail full tang?**
A: Yes full tang and thick enough to baton with plus 90 degree spine for ferrel rod.

**Q: Any information about the Rockwell hardness of this blade?**
A: No, but it does have this brittle feel to it when you strike it against something. I have another knife that is rated at 440 stainless and the blade sounds and reacts thicker, more substantial.

**Q: Blade thickness?**
A: The blade is 5mm at the thickest point.

**Q: Is it good for combat ?**
A: Being an ex martial artist and blade collector, I'd def trust it in hand to hand w blades. It comes very sharp but the sheath can be tricky to resheat it so I suggest care in putting it away, there's only so much accidental slicing that duct tape can handle. I worked in HVAC so I have used a lotta duct tape for sliced skin, works great.

The knife is great value for the money. The edge is very sharp. It has a nice weight to it - does not feel flimsy. The only thing I would say is the design of the knife sheath. Best knife I ever owned. It can slice any meat, filet fish and spread peanut butter. It holds an edge well It is a solid stainless blade and solid black polymer type hand grip and rock solid to carry as a self defense weapon if needed. Best knife purchase I every made. Love the tanto style

Solid feel, blade feels stiff , no flexure like a "katana" blade should have. Katana's unique temper allowed them to be flexible at the core, but maintain a sharp edge. The lack of flexure would be more problematic if this was a sword and not a knife, so not a knock on it. The leather holster is a nice add on. I won't know how well the edge will last - but it woudln't take much to turn it.
