Mediocre cable
When it arrived, both TS sleeves were unscrewed, revealing the wire and sauder. Come on -- it's in a clear plastic pouch -- they couldn't screw them back in before shipping? I screwed-in the jackets on both and the cable functions "reasonably" well for the price. The 1/4" TS plugs and the jackets seem to be heavy duty, and the cable is quite beefy. Yet despite these signs of quality, I get occasional connection problems (sound goes in and out) and I've found they are noisy cables. They need to be jiggled when they start cutting out; but I've since purchased quality cables for my amps and pedals, and use these curlies only as backups for practice on my travel guitars using my Pod 2.0. If I were at the level where I could gig, these cables would remain at home. These are cheap, home practice cables best used with some amp modeler.

Excellent for the $
For a super cheap cable I am very pleased with this. It is a little short but stretches fairly far, the jacks sometimes need their housings screwed tighter, in fact they came loose but once tightened they hold for awhile. No buzzing or side noise just a clean signal with no break. Not sure how long it will last but for now this exactly what I was looking for. I am surprised that these telephoning style cords are getting harder to find they are great for keeping things tidy in your practice space. This one is a keeper I am buying a backup but I shouldn't need it for awhile. UPDATE* The solder connections on these are cheap and come loose in no time, also you might need to crimp the metal that holds the cord in the housing to keep it from coming loose. Don't be surprised if you have to fix the connections under the housings within a month. Not as well made as I thought.

Pyle-pro
I like this style of cord for my guitar because as of the strait ones they tend to get tangled up more. So yeah I would recommend this type cord to any guitar player. There are some longer than the one I bought but everyone has their own style and length they like. If you are standing a little distance from your amp you might want a lo get cord but for my use right now the shorter one fits just fine but later on I might want to go with say maybe a 15 to 20 foot cord, just depends on where you like to stand or sit that makes a difference on what length you like.

good, but seemingly short
First, this item seems to be of good quality. We will hope for the best.It may indeed be a 12' coiled, but as its coiled, the unstretched length is maybe 3 or 4 feet...maybe even 2.But as this is just going from my pedals to my amp, its fine i suppose. I'd be worried that having to stretch the cable too much could stress and eventually damage input jacks...So I'm gonna not try to over-do it with this one.

Not a good choice
I have gone through two of these coil cords in a month each. The soldering is shoddy and the copper wire connections do not have enough length inside the metal housings to reach the connectors. If you buy this be prepared to take apart the cable ends and strip and resolder and reassemble the cords. It is out of warranty with Amazon so am stuck with it. Worked fine otherwise but the poor workmanship effectively makes it useless.

GUITAR CORD CAN'T SURVIVE CASUAL HOME USE
Don't waste your money. OR, if you do buy it, place it to where it won't ever be moved. It might then last a while. I used it twice in my bedroom, sitting on the floor right next to where it plugged into a pedal board. I got up, sat on the bed and the cable jacket came out of the crimp and broke the center conductor connection on the right-angle plug end. Really? yes really, and yes, it lives up to its' name, it truly is a Pyle of, a not well made product. And, the center-conductor though copper, is a very small gauge of stranded wire.

super short
Dont even think youre going to get a 12ft. cord. Thats only if you stretch it as far as you can go risking the integrity of the cord. You will comfortably get 5 ft. out of this cord.

Does the Job
After a few weeks of use, this cable is still working. I use it for practice at the house because I was tired of my straight 20' cable always tangling. Like others have said, the connectors came loose and needed to be tightened. It sounds good to me. It's working as expected.

Not durable
Worked well for a year or so of light home use and gave up the ghost. Was not easy to solder/repair like a regular patch cable would be.
