Awesome for chicken coop
Bought this for small chicken coop. We’ve been using it since May, everyday for 3 months and highly recommend. The lil solar panel works well. I was happy to get a 2 pack in case 1 needed to be charged the other could be in use but haven’t needed to remove the 1 bulb yet. Every morning we wake up and it’s still on, ot just charge during the day as it is on every evening and I’ve not had to touch the darn thing since putting it in the coop. We keep it on low setting. High is WAY too bright for a small coop, but would illuminate a bedroom very well. The remote control works but I found it needs to be in direct line of the bulbs sensor with no interference to work. So it will not power off/on from the other side of a piece of plywood.

good lights solar charging them good.
(UPDATE: not sure if i got a bad unit but these lights do not last long. at the max 20mins then they dim another 20 dim again then shutoff. i live in California we get sun all day. so no excuse about charging. also they make a high pitch sound while charging. kind of scary id pass on these ones get one with a storage bank to power the lights ) good lights cable is a bit short but workable. not to bright wish it was a bit brighter. but hey for 20$ not bad should make that money back in no time with what ill be saving on light bill

Have light anywhere anytime
I love these things. I use them for my chicken coop, my kids playhouse inside and outside, and they work great if the power goes out. I allow the solar panel to keep the one in the coop charged and never have any issues. My emergency bulb gets charged by plugging it up before a storm. They work great either way. They hold their charge well, aren’t expensive, and can take a beating from 3 wild little girls. The light may not be as bright as some people may like, but they work great for me.

Handy lights
These are small and bright. Easy to use and comes with everything you need to use them. Remote works great. I don't have to walk out to the coop.

Great bulbs for the chicken coop! But just use them manually. Remote and solar panels useless.
While the brightness and versatility is great, the solar panels are useless. I should have just gotten the regular USB charged bulbs. Even on a sunny day, with the panels in direct sunlight, the bulbs die within 4 hours. Even with a full USB charge, plugging them in doesn't make the charge last any longer. So they are completely useless. But on a full USB charge, they last on High for about 6 or so hours, and don't start dimming ntil about 4 or so hours. They last on Medium about 8 to 10 which is great and won't start to dim until about 6/7 . Plus a full charge only takes about 2 and a half hours. I use these in my chicken coop, which is quite dark. Here in CT the sun comes up around 7 AM and its pitch dark by 4:30 PM. I place one bulb on High in the coop around 7 AM. Around 2ish, I swap the bulbs, put the 2nd one in on medium, and charge the first one. By the time it starts getting dark at 4, its fully charged and I put that one just outside the coop so my flock can get some extra time outside in the run for a couple extra hours.some people let their flock go with nature, but I believe them being in the dark for 15 full hours from 4 PM to 7 AM is just too much. No water or food, or exercise, that affects people, why not animals? Before I added lights and the days got shorter, my flock was getting noticeably more lethargic, and irritable. Their energy levels are up and they have been much happier. Some people add lights to keep them laying regularly. Yes they continue to lay but this also means they are healthy. I turn the lights out at around 7:30 so they get a full night's recharge. I turn the lights on low at 6:30 for the last hour to mimic the sunset. This lets them know its time to eat and drink before bed and they get settled on their roosting bars. The ability to change the light settings is great. Unfortunatly the remotes are as useless as the solar panels. One remote works for both bulbs, but you cant control which one, so you have to point the remote directly at it from a few feet away. And since I have the lights only a few feet apart, I would have to be pointing the remote a couple inches from it, so there is literally no point. While I am out with my chickens several times a day collecting eggs, being able to change the setting manually is not an issue for me. But for someone who purchases these, counting on being able to use the remotes, they would be highly disappointed. I did originally search for "remote solar light bulbs, so while these did function really well, 2 of the 3 searches were useless. It does seem alot of people like these as they have quite a high rating, so I don't know if I got defective panels or what, but either way, charging them is working fine so its not worth the trouble to return them only to get the USB ones since I can do that with these anyways. The bulbs themselves serve the purpose for what I was looking for. For 2 bulbs, the price is great, easy to use, long lasting battery. Just don't bother with the Solar panels or the remote.

GARBAGE
I'm not one to write negative reviews, but these lights are a complete waste of money. Not sure how they have over a 4 star rating. They are not reliable in the least, do not depend on them in an emergency situation. I charged mine up upon receiving them and put them away for use when needed. A few weeks later I had a power outage and, excited to use my new lights, I pulled them out only to find they had zero charge. I didn't think much of it even though it hadn't been long since they had been charged, but after putting the panels back in the sun and charging them again, they've only ever held any charge for about 5 minutes. They turn on initially after charging, but will not turn on again mere minutes later. The battery lasting 4-15 hours is a joke. Mine wouldn't last 4-15 minutes. These things are total garbage and unfortunately are now headed to the landfill to be with their garbage brethren. It's sad to think about all of the resources used to manufacture these things and ship them overseas only to basically go straight into the trash. It's shamefully wasteful. I wholeheartedly regret buying these.

Easy to use, highly recommend!
I'm using this in my chicken coop as their "get in here it's bedtime" signal. I set the four hour timer and it works like a charm. Unless the lowest in the pecking order decides she's roosting first tonight. And then no amount of light will soothe the bruised egos of the rest of the flock enough to get them into the coop in time. Chickens are night blind. Anyway, we're in northern Indiana so in the winter it's dark a fair bit of the day. Right now it's light from like 730-1730 and the solar panel is on top of our chicken run and the wire is fed through the air vent on the side and then plugged into the bulb which is hanging in the coop. We get a decent amount of rain and have zero issues. It was beyond simple to install. We don't have it screwed into anything, just wedged it in the frame of the run. Doesn't budge. Would definitely recommend as purchase again.

Utiles
Me parece un producto bastante útil. Los compré para utilizarlos en una casa donde no tenemos luz eléctrica y funcionan bastante bien. Y es mucho mejor por el hecho de poder cargarse de manera sar.

Didn’t charge
We put these up in our 2 horse stalls. Don’t work. Lights did have red lights on them indicating charging but now nothing. No green light has come on to say charged. Going to return them.

Didn’t work properly.
Super disappointed. We bought these to use in our chicken coop. We used one unit, however it would never get charged by solar. The only way it works is to charge via USB into power outlet. So we have to bring in the light everyday in order to charge it for the night. When fully charged, we get approx. 6 hours of light on the battery. The second unit we got never charged (solar nor outlet), so it has never worked. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this product.

La celda no funciona
La celda no funciona, no carga los focos. Y es la celda, porque el foco si funciona.
