It looked like it was a return, because everything was scattered. Unfortunately they did not send me the silver ones i ordered, instead they sent me the ones i did not like but i used them to trim my hair. have thik curly hair lots of it, this was a good product i love the way it cuts my thik curly hair. I use it just for trims and thinning out my hair due to my hair being so damaged and thik. This product does the Jon good. I like the fact that it also came with a cape, everything came in ready to cut hair, even clips. I recommend it for all types of hair just be careful when you use it on tjik hair do not use on too much hair use a small mout at a time when thinning hair out.

Had a mix up where they didn't ship it on time and claimed I didn't pay (I did - either they didn't see it or the processing was delayed). I contacted them about it and they got it to me ASAP, so that was cool. I used to have some professional scissors from Japan when I lived in Asia. They were sharp, heavy duty, and very reliable for years. Those cost about $50 at the time. Years before that I had the cheap hair cutting shears from walmart with the plastic finger rings for like $10. I am not a professional or had any training, but cut my own hair or for others when we were expats and had trouble communicating our preferences at the time. Back in the US now and having to cut our own hair because of the shelter at home orders. This whole set has everything you need, except for the trimmer, for $30ish. Right off the bat, I knew it wasn't as nice as the Japanese shears I had before. But I did appreciate how heavy duty they were. The swivel has a bit more resistance than I would prefer, but smooth. The weight and resistance is not comfortable for long term daily use, but it seems like it will last a long time. It wasn't sharp enough, but not that dull either. Lightly sharpened it and it works great right away. Thinning shears, razor, comb, clips, cape, and cleaning cloth were actually better than the shears. If you want better shears that are professional, pay more. But this has the essentials we need for now. Would recommend you give the shears a little sharpening and adjust the swivel first. They are not great out of the box but have good potential if tweaked a little. Update - after using the shears a couple of times they basically stopped working. It’s so dull that the hair gets pinched in between the blades without actually cutting. Furthermore it won’t sharpen after that. I have a feeling these are not the hard metal it claims to be. The rest of the set remains okay so far...

Bought these scissors after watching Brad Mondo a dozen times and yes I did cut my hair and no it was not a fail! My hairstylist career didn't stop there I ended uo becoming a dog groomer as well! She is fine! Ummm so I got to her bumm, and one side looked uneven, so I trimmed the other side. Then THAT side looked uneven, so I trimmed again. Fast forward 20 minutes and I somehow sculpted my dog into having the most defined booty cheeks in Faulkner County. My husband walked in, stared at her, and said: "Why does the dog have a hair butt?" The scissors themselves are actually sharp, comfortable, and work great. The problem is they gave me enough confidence to believe I was qualified to groom a Pomeranian.

I spent a lot of time looking for a decent pair of hairdresser scissors to cut my husbands hair and I was really impressed with the quality of this product. PS. His hair cut came out very well and I am now his hairdresser!!

cheap - looked used...case is poor quality - glue to seal case looked like it had been done by a child... not happy with this....dont bother.
