Umbra Prisma 8x10 Picture Frame, Floating Wall or Desk Photo Display for Pictures, Art, Illustrations, Graphic Text & More, Metal, Black

I used this to frame a holographic postcard that was a non-standard size, and which commemorated a really beautiful experience in my life. The frame can account for a wide range of sizes of images (and shapes, for that matter.) It's tricky to center the picture, and will require some measuring and marking (I recommend having a ruler and a dry erase marker on hand). It's somewhat tricky to keep the image in place on the first slab of glass as you slide the back glass pane onto it. Still, it only took me about 10 minutes. It's lovely, attention-getting, and low-priced considering the quality. The frame is surprisingly lightweight, which was a nice surprise, because I want people to pick it up and move it around to see how the holographic image changes, but the material of it still feels like quality.

Great frame. I have purchased several to use as small gifts. Very nice look and feel, small and easy to place on a shelf or table. I haven't tried to hang it.

This is a really beautiful frame! I don’t think the picture on the site does it justice and, anyone on your gift list would be thrilled to receive this frame! The design of the frame while drawing focus on your picture, does not in anyway detract from the beauty of the frame. Also, the frame has some weight to it, it is not by any means a slight product. The packaging is a completely different story! The first two frames I received were broken which was very disappointing as it was supposed to have been a Christmas gift. The frame is so beautiful I decided to try until I received one that was intact. Received the third frame in the mail Tuesday but just opened the package with fingers crossed and wouldn’t you know, third time’s the charm! Anyway, I digress the packaging; absolutely nothing like bubble wrap around the frame to prevent breakage (company take note and fix this problem. Please!), it is wrapped in thin tissue paper inside the box. I highly recommend this frame but, unless the packaging issues are addressed, you might be requesting more than once. Im getting ready to order different sizes but, hoping the packaging issues will be resolved!

Last Christmas I bought a bunch of these in different metals for gifts. They turned out to be the best gifts at a great price and will definitely last forever. Though they are pricey compared to say wooden ones I have to say the wooden and plastic frames start falling apart eventually. ANd that is my opinion after 40 yrs of using regular ones like that. For the price you cant beat these. Oh and did I say they are beautiful... Well, they are. DEFINITELY recommend

Looks good. Directions could have, well, been there. Some of us don't have mad skills at visual spatial matters so a little assistance would be nice.

This is a really cool frame but be careful reading the description when ordering! I ordered the 8x10 thinking that was the actual, full size, but it's really a 10x12 frame intended to be used with an 8x10 image so that the geometric design in the back is visible. The seller did provide this in the description, but sadly I overlooked it. I will definitely still be keeping this frame but may have to buy another one for my intended project. One other thing to keep in mind: It was very challenging keeping my image centered when framing. You have to keep the image pressed between the two glass plates and then slide them into the metal frame, which can cause the image to shift around. I would suggest putting a little piece of tape on the back of your image to hold it in place. Otherwise, the frame is perfect! Shipping was fast with prime and my frame arrived very well packed and in perfect condition! It feels very sturdy and was super easy to hang. It comes with a screw for hanging but I opted for picture framing hooks instead which worked great! This is such a different way to display things, I've already gotten compliments on it!

I give this frame a five star rating. It's just what i was looking for. I used it as an anniversary gift for my husband this year. Its so hard to find gifts for people, especially men. And this was a nice fresh idea- unlike new socks and underwear. I painted a few small pictures on sturdy paper and put them in my frame. My husband loves it! It's great because it's personal and special to him. This frame isn't all girly and femenine either. It is a classic look and he displays it on his desk at work. Its not that it couldn't be used for a womens taste, but she would have to have modern taste. It's a good quality piece with a great design. There's even i video with the description that helps you see if this is really the frame your looking for. So overall I would recommend it, it makes a good gift and it spruces up an area, making it look modern and classic.

Very nice, modern and stylish looking photo frame. Love the prism design as it makes your photos look like its floating. Was difficult to get hold of this style of frame in this chrome colour as most retail shops stocked only the black, brass and copper. This chrome colour goes very well with our silver and glass furniture. You can have it sit portrait or landscape, and it also comes with a screw in case you wanted to hang it on the wall too. The glass is held in place by transparent rubber stoppers which are wedged in place between the frame and the glass in the top corners and along the sides at the bottom. Then the two pieces of glass slide out from the bottom. The glass was slightly chipped at the top but once in the frame you cannot see it so I won't bother exchanging it. Some people may find it a bit tricky trying to position the photo in between the two pieces of glass without it slipping and sliding, or leaving fingerprints on the inside of the glass, but when you remove the stock photo that it came with, you will see a sticky back tape which you can re-use and place your own photo on it. This should keep it in place... or alternatively, you can use your own double sided tape to help keep the photo in place. Once it is in place, you can use a glasses cloth to clean off any fingerprints or smear marks on the inside of the glass and carefully place the glass that goes on the back by handling it on the sides. Once you have fixed the rubber stoppers in place, give the glass a good wipe down with the glasses cloth and everything should be sparkling clean. Might be a bit fiddly but its worth it! Also got another one of these frames in the copper and its a lovely colour to match with warmer furniture tones.
