I had the same bass tube in a 10" but the amp became shorted and the 10" always seemed to be overkill. This one is perfect for the application, and sounds cleaner as well. This is a great sounding bass tube at an incredibly great price

Put in back seat of extended cab truck. Perfect fit under the seat. Great value for the price. Gives enough low end and punch in a small enclosed cab. BTW, Rockville support is awesome! I had a few novice questions for install and they were easy to talk to and have great recommendations for wiring and location. Highly recommend!

Doesn't worth you money and your time

This was very easy to install, I have never installed any car audio related thing, but was able to install this by myself. Am driving a very old Toyota Corolla 1995 model whose speakers were so bad. Thanks to Rockville for making a budget woofer like this to finally bring some life to my car, as I wasn't willing to invest in something expensive for an old ass car. For this price, this thing has good bass. Am really happy with my purchase. I would highly recommend this speaker.

I feel compelled to write a review on this - it is absolutely incredible! I received it in 2 days and installed it the night I got it. I am completely blown away! I remember the old Bazooka tube, which sucked, but this little 8 pounds! I drive an MR2 so space is very limited, I put this behind my seat and fired it up and mind=blown. This hits deep and hard, I've used everything from a pair of 15s in a hatch to a sealed 12 pushed by 1250 watts and just love this. I was debating between their sealed 8" which has reviews and this tube with none. I am ecstatic, this was a successful gamble on my part. I can't speak to longevity but in case this has an issue that's not covered by warranty I will absolutely buy another one, I'm that impressed with it. Try it out if you have a truck or maybe another 2 seater, I doubt it'll hit through a trunk, but they do have larger subs available. Customer for life here, thanks so much for an affordable superior alternative to those stupid bazooka tube.

I bought this to add a little bass to the standard 4 speaker system in my car. I had the subwoofer put in by best buy so how easy it is to hook up is not something I can tell you. In my small 2010 focus, it does shake it a little, mostly to do with its economy car and its size. Now it's not a crazy amount of shaking. The camera picks up the rattling sounds way better than in person, standing behind the car with the trunk closed you barely hear the plate rattle. With my video, the stock radio's integrated bass control already works with control of the subwoofer's bass. Your car may be different and require a bass knob. Not a bad little subwoofer, probably will upgrade to a better one in the future.

This sounds great at low volume but loud it developed a crackling sound. I'll be purchasing a different sub for sure

The speaker does not come anymore with an adjustable volume knob. You need to use a phillips screwdriver to adjust where there was previously a knob. I guess you need to keep a small screwdriver in your console to adjust on the fly... Should have went with different brand.
