Asus TUF B450-Pro Gaming Motherboard (ATX) AMD Ryzen 3 AM4 DDR4, HDMI, Dual M.2, USB 3.1 Gen 2 and Aura Sync RGB Lighting B450

Hooked it up, used R5-5600 AMD . Everything worked !!!! I bought used so nothing came with this board, Replacing an older asus board i reused alot of parts basically plug and play. This board only has 5 fan headers so if your using water cooling invest in splitters....

I use this motherboard for over a year and can't complain. No overclocking or anything special. Memory is running at 3200MHz. Machine is very stable, have not crashed one time in the year that I have it. I like all of the features, sufficient number of the USB ports and PCIx slots.One complaint is a blinking LED in the sleep mode. My case has a white LED and in the sleep mode the LED blinks about twice a second. This makes all room light up. I wish the LED would blink much slower or the pattern could be adjusted or even turned off. My previous board just turned off power LED when in the sleep mode.

I always like Asus MB's it works, has all the basic functions. Mine didn't come with a manual or a disk with all the drivers. I had to log into my account to find the drivers needed. Mine was already updated to the correct Bios which i thought was weird, made me wonder if it was a return and used board, the box was slightly dented on one side. There was no tape sealing the static free wrap on the MB, nor was the box sealed. The MB does dim leds behind the board. Nothing spectactular. this is an ATX board it does has 2 M.2 slots one is gen3 and the other gen2 for the price of the MB you think they would at least be GEN3 for both. I did get this on sale. Now the price is higher and i would not recommend the board on that fact. All components fit fine, the ram is limited so my 3200 was running at 2400 but i overclocked it and now im at my desired speed. The bios is pretty easy to understand, This board is replacing one i need repaired which is a lot better MB. Overall if your in a pinch by all means get it. If not look for something better.

Ok, had to modify this. When I ordered the MB I got the entire kit as show below the item. The MB, the Ryzen 2700 CPU and the Memory. BE AWARE.. If you want to use the on board video, you need a CPU with a G after the number, it will not work with x or y or any other letter.Also, the manual has no case connector information. I had to look here, and on Asus to find out where to plug everything in, including the little beeper speaker.. Not impressed with that. So this will probably be my last ASUS product for a while.Got this thing setup and no video. Called ASUS, waited 30 mins to talk to Tech, found out the 2700 chip requires a Video card add on.. Luckly I had one from the previous setup. Board works great with win 10.. if you like win 10.

I am running a Ryzen 7 3700x and Geforce RTX 2080 super as well as Corsair Vengeance 3200 and it runs like a dream! Absolutely love this motherboard! No complaints at all!! Have had zero issues. Installed everything and it powered up and ran perfectly the first time I hit the power button and havent had a single issue since.

Update: issue was my display cable not seating all they way do to the case. Cut the piece out of the way and runs perfectly.Not sure if it’s my fault or the boards, the board wasn’t posting to any screen, so I reseated the memory, still nothing. When I went to reseat the CPU I unscrewed the cooler and as I was removing the CPU was pulled out with the cooler bending multiple pins. Short story is that I’m now down a CPU.

The only problem I had was my own fault. I plugged the cpu fan into the wrong header, and had a problem with the fan running at too high a speed. Easily fixed and worth the time and effort to set up.

Would probably have been a beast if it were actually compatible with Ryzen 3000 series processors. Got it all hooked up, Mobo lights up letting me know I have power, power switch does absolutely nothing. Yes, it was on the FPanel correctly. Turns out my Ryzen 5 3600 was the issue, this mobo is NOT compatible out of the box. You need an older 2000 series Ryzen CPU to flash the bios in order for it to even recognize Ryzen 3000 series CPUs. Sadly, that's where my experience ends with this mobo. Just wriring the review so that people know not to get this one if they can't flash the bios for the newer Ryzen CPUs.
