Post Surgery Tearaway Shorts - Men's - Women's - Unisex Sizing

After having two toes removed, I spent several months dealing with a wound vac and a bulky medical boot, and honestly these tearaway shorts ended up being one of the most useful things I bought during recovery. I didn’t realize how frustrating regular shorts would be until I was trying to maneuver tubing, bandages, and the boot several times a day. The tearaway sides made dressing changes and doctor visits so much easier. I could keep the shorts on and still get access to my leg without awkwardly struggling or feeling uncomfortable. They also fit nicely over the boot without feeling too tight or restrictive. I like that the sizing is unisex because it gave me a little extra room, which was actually more comfortable while recovering. The material is lightweight and soft enough to wear all day around the house, and they held up surprisingly well after multiple washes. The snaps stayed secure but were still easy enough to open when needed. That said, they’re definitely more functional than stylish, so don’t expect premium athletic wear quality or a super tailored fit. But for recovery purposes, comfort and convenience mattered way more to me. Overall, these really helped make a difficult few months a little less frustrating and gave me easier access for wound care without constantly changing clothes. For anyone dealing with surgery recovery, wound vacs, casts, boots, or limited mobility, I’d absolutely recommend giving these a try. Hope this helps!

Must have for post leg surgery. These were so helpful after surgery, especially the first week when just getting dressed was exhausting, but the ease of taking them off and on make them a favorite for the duration of recovery. They are also so soft on the inside.

These are soft and comfortable and the snaps stay closed when needed. They are perfect for post surgery situations like catheters or drains. You can put them on without worrying about hoses. My only gripe is there are no pockets. Otherwise, I recommend them.

I love them , comfy. Come unsnapped. But not horrible. Easy though.

These shorts are going to be of great help after my hip replacement. They are soft and the snaps are easy to undo. It will be very helpful getting dressed and undressed . Great material also. They look nice . I ordered an extra large . I'm 5'4" 174 lb. They are just the right size waist, length,not to oversize but roomy and look nice.

Order a size larger. Watch the thigh flexing. The size I ordered kept unsnapping. Think a size larger would be better. Feel nice and comfy... maybe easier for backcountry hiking and swimming. If I ordered again, larger size and loops/hooks for closure would work better.

These fit well, the fabric was nice and thick, and the snaps felt sturdy. They're the length of athletic shorts (longer inseam), and were my pre-teen daughter's favorite pair to wear after surgery.

I am 5'11 and 295 to 300 that's right I have a woman that likes big teddy bear. I purchased these as a tearaway option for intimate occasions. I did not purchase them for post surgery purposes. They were purchased for fun time in the bedroom as my woman and I like to rip each other's clothes off. I also liked the tearaway athletic pants in the past where you can wear a pair of shorts underneath them and tear away the pants. I have always wanted a pair of shorts for the purpose of tear away in an intimate occasion. They are a really nice polyester sweatpant material they are fuzzy on the inside, very comfortable against the skin. It is also fun to wear something skimpy underneath as it feels good as well. I can see how they would be useful for the purpose of post-surgery. After knee or hip operations I'm sure it can be difficult to move for the purpose of being in the hospital. If i am ever in the hospital for any reason I will be sure to take these.

Los shorts son muy prácticos, los botones hasta ahora han salido resistentes. Lo que no me agrada tanto es el grosor de la tela, ya que con el calor más el tiempo que el paciente está en cama no permite que transpire.
