Perfect meal on the trail. Can't get any better than this.
This is just too good. Add the exact amount of water. Initially, I thought that even if it says it is "two meals, " I was a little apprehensive. I didn't want to starve on my Grand Canyon R2R hike. However, I will admit, I couldn't finish the whole packet. I wouldn't say it is "two meals", but certainly "1.5". And the taste is just super!!

Everyone ended up eating mine!!
Went on a camping trip with some friends. Everyone got different food options. Everyone ended up eating mine because it was so good! It tasted like real pasta and sauce you’d have at a sit down dinner place! Definitely will be getting more! You do have to bring or make your own hot water to make the pasta!

It’s alright
The overall taste is fantastic, the unfortunate part is that when you follow the instructions for the meal it leaves you with crunchy pieces of chicken. It becomes costly when you have to experiment around with a meal you buy to be able to enjoy it. Highly recommend using rapidly boiling water and leaving it longer for the chicken to finish cooking. Unsure how that will affect the noodles, but it either needs more water or more time. Thankfully i tried it at home first, and not backpacking, otherwise id of taken another star for messing with my hiking hunger.

You should have some on hand
Man this stuff is good. I don't mean for camp food, it's just good in general. Enough to make your date think you can cook when you can't. Not as good as the stroganoff, but pretty dang close.

Great tasting
Probably the best chicken pesto pasta from a freeze dried I have tasted. Easy to make quick and taste good. Purchased several times and consistency is spot on. Will continue to purchase

Could not rehydrate the chicken bits no matter what I did
I’m no rookie when it comes to pouch meals. I started with MH back in 1973. I was very disappointed with this particular meal. I hadn’t had this particular meal before but is was recommended by a friend. I followed the directions exactly. After 10 minutes it was obvious that 2/3C of water was not enough so I added 21st of boiling water. The pasta was al dente but the chicken was like chewing on a pencil eraser! I closed it back up, put it back in the cozy for another 5 minutes. No change in the chicken consistency at all. I dumped it into a pot and “simmered” it for another few minutes until I could see the pasta was disintegrating. The chicken was still like pencil erasers. I’ll try it one more time eventually but not soon. I hope I just got a bad batch. I honestly can’t comment on the taste because I was so put off by the chicken I didn’t notice.
