I did have a similar style pair of shoes and after a number of years, it was time to replace them. Since this was going to be my daily work shoes, not only would they need to be comfortable and durable, they should look good without being flashy.Initially, I was concerned they might have been slightly too small but after wearing if for a week, the leather stretched (to be expected) and now the fit is perfect and comfortable. On average, I wear these shoes three or four times a week. Generally, especially if I make international trips, I wear them for 8 - 10 hours. The corners by the heel are rounded and do not bite into my ankles or skin.On two occasions, the exterior of the shoe had a scuff mark which was easily removed with routine polishing and cleaning.The only criteria that is yet to be determined is durability. The pictures shown are after wearing the shoes for one day. ONE DAY! I was stoked to receive these since the pictures look great, and the shoes arrived looking just like the pictures. Everything on these shoes looks great out of the box, but you can instantly tell that they're cheap when they're in your hands.I didn't return them when I first got them because they were packaged pretty nicely and came with a shoe horn, giving the impression of some level of quality. I got these before a conference and wore them that day. I got blisters on both heels and it was a thoroughly unpleasant experience, but I figured they would break in. Well they broke in, haha just not in the way I would have hoped. The creases on the shoes are bad enough that I think I will toss these shoes in a couple months tops and buy a quality pair of brown dress shoes.
