Best of all
Solidly built, and squeezes most of the juice from a lemon without much effort. A lemon is halved across its width and placed into the extractor with its cut side facing down. Think of an hourglass. The bottom is the lemon sitting over holes in the bowl of the extractor and the top is the extractor's ribbed half that will crush the lemon as the handles are squeezed. There is very little pulp and no seeds in the extracted juice. Best of all, it's easy to clean and toss in a drawer. This quickly does the job for a pitcher of lemonade. If you need maximum juice extraction and high volume, and storage/price is not an objection, buy a stand-mounted extractor with a cup that encloses the top half of the lemon as it's squeezed.

This does a nice job getting the juice out of a half-lime or half-lemon, without leaving anything behind, and also without introducing off flavors.I get a whiff of peel oil out of the results, but the only way I have found to avoid that completely is with an electric/porcelain spin juicer. Plus just a touch of peel oil is a nice aromatic. It's my go-to juicer whenever I'm doing 1-4 fruit halves for cooking or drinks.Fine for repeated dishwasher trips. Doubles as a decent hammer to bust up ice cube clumps in the cooler at picnics.

A Very Good Product
A very sturdy squeezer and well made. The leverage needed to press out the juice is surprisingly easy considering how thick lemon rinds are. I was looking for a squeezer that would squeeze a lemon dry, this one pretty much will. But in order for me to achieve that I first have to place the lemon in rind up, then down, then rind up again otherwise juice is still left in...I want every single drop.I suppose I got spoiled when I found this old Amco squeezer in the attic and started using it for a couple weeks. Unfortunately it's made of aluminum so I had to put an end to all the fun. But it was a GREAT design, one easy press and every single drop of juice was squeezed out of the lemon. And I mean every single drop. The rind was dry and nothing but pith was left. Will someone please bring back this design but make it out of stainless steel.

ALL FOUR I PURCHASED DEVELOPED RUST WITHIN THE MONTH - MATERIAL DEFECT
Anna in Cookeezi Customer Service was stellar for helping me return these items. However, the entire lot of juicers themselves have, in my opinion, material defects. I have now bought four juicers over four months and had to return all four. They develop noticeable rust in as little as 2 weeks but always within 30 days. This may be because I put them in the dishwasher. However, they are advertised as dishwasher safe. All four that I purchased at different times (3 from Amazon Prime and one replaced by Anna) developed rust in the bowl corners in the area that could touch the flesh of the lemons. The stainless juicer I had prior to these still does not have rust after 2 years of ownership. But I did like the ease of squeeze on this Cookeezi. It was much easier for carpal tunnel hands. It may have a great warranty but I would rather not have to return every month for replacement. An incredible hassle. I'm trying a different stainless brand. I hope they can figure out how to stop the rusting then I will gladly buy again due to the comfortable grip.

Poor finishing under the upper handle
Except for the finishing under the upper handle of the squeezer the product appears to be solid. I used the product a few times and now it appears to be rusting where the finishing is bad. As others have provided a five star rating for this product it is possible the item I received may have been defective. I sent an e-mail to the seller who is also the owner of Cookeezi with pictures of the issue I had with the product and did not receive a response. I have now returned the squeezer. I am attaching pictures of the product I received as part of my review.

Ok not 'Best'
Looks great but the hinge is not strong so it bends rather than completely squeezing all the juice...I wouldn't call it "Best"

The last lemon squeezer I'll ever need.
I previously had a cast-aluminum squeezer. It worked well until I squeezed too hard and the handle snapped! It was quite a surprise and could have been bad since shards of that aluminum casting flew across the room. This stainless-steel squeezer is amazing! It is so solid and the handles are very ergonomic. This should last me a lifefime!

well made, cast stainless bowls, has a good feel, not made completely of formed flat stock like some others. Very nice, I can imagine it is a lifetime purchase.
