I purchased this for my husband for his tree felling work in our yard (we live on an old tree farm). He is in the process of cutting down over 50 white pines on our property, and this has been invaluable in saving his back and his chain saw blades! It helps him maneuver the trees once they're down, and keeps him from cutting into the ground with his chain saw.

This tool made the heavy work so much easier to do.

Solid and US made. Rolled a few 36"+ red oak rounds with ease. A peavey is also worth having too however. No one tool can do it all!

Very good peavey. Sharp hook and point. A lot of leverage; I was moving 2000 to 3000 pound logs with it. 24" x 25' white pine logs still green.

Great tool to replace my wooden handled one. Purchased with the chair attachment, very handy for those that work with timber.

Absolutely love this device! I only cut down a few trees per week, but this makes the work much easier. Rolling huge logs is now possible, and I love using it to free trees that get hung up in the canopy after I cut them from the base.It's too big to use on smaller trunks or branches and would be too small for truly huge trees, but extremely helpful on the majority of trees that I work on.
