The Pencil Grip Chewberz Pencil Toppers, Latex-Free Chewable Pencil Toppers, Navy Blue, Set of 3 - TPG-883

This is a very durable chewy that fits well on a #2 pencil. I have it on a kindergarten fat pencil which works fine but is a snug fit.

Good Quality and fit our standard #2 pencil great. Did not break down after some heavy "knawing"

UPDATE: So, we’ve been using this since end of November, it’s now January & he’s chewed through the rubber😭 Good thing there’s 3 My son has been chewing on his pencils & pens enough to chip his front tooth😱I saw different ones but went with this as it covered a longer surface than the others. It’s a little loose on the pencils but it hasn’t chipped his tooth so I guess it’s ok.

With a child who fidgets a lot and is often distracted during school, these have been a perfect solution. He used to chew on pens and ruined other writing utensils but now he has this alternative.

If your kid is a moderate chewer these may be for them. My kiddo is a pretty aggressive chewer but doesn't like tha hardness of those ones. So I just have to buy several packs of these at a time.

My kids are like piranhas with erasers. These stood up to their biting, chomping and tearing. It took a couple weeks for one to rip off a portion of the top. (Covid-19 homeschool stress) I rated these three stars, though, because even without chewing, the pencil grip, itself, clamped so tightly on the eraser that it pulled the eraser off-with the metal- and defeated the purpose of using these the protect the eraser. I tried it on three pencils to make sure it wasn't the kid's jaws that had weakened the metal. Nope, the eraser unit just stayed inside!

My 6 year old has been chewing sleeves and collars and begging me for something to chew on. She was excited when these arrived and says she won’t be able to chew through them like her clothes. She wanted me to give a 5 star review :)

They are a little to flexible for my student but they work well enough.

These are nice thick rubber. Fairly durable, but my son is a pretty aggressive chewer. I can see how these would last all school year if your child was an occasional chewer. I have multiple sets so I can clean and send new ones to school every day. A repurchase for our house, worth it!

I found that these things broke or fell off in short order. They are also heavy, relative to the pencil, affecting the balance of the pencil and creating distraction. My child seemed had better luck with Munchables Chewable Sensory Pencil Toppers, a clear plastic tube that slides over the pencil.
