I wore it every day, it just felt like a regular belt. The long zipper compartment is good, allows storing more $100 bills without getting too bulky. I folded 3 bills to fit, and could fit 4 sets of 3 end to end, for $1200 total in my belt. Part of the trip was in Peru where just recently there was some civil unrest and travelers stranded at Machu Picchu. All was calm while we were there, but nice to have some insurance. That makes it difficult to make the sharp bend needed to get through the buckle. Large size is 48" long from center of the buckle to tip of the belt, about 4" too long for my 36" waist. Initially bought the Eagle Creek money belt but returned it unopened after reading the Amazon reviews. (Did examine it through the clear packaging and was not super impressed with the plastic buckle and overall finish.) The Bison belt is well made, and long enough to accomodate a larger waist (I'm a 34" inch waist and had plenty of belt to spare, but this is not a belt for a larger-waisted person -- 38" might be the max.) The heavy nylon webbing seems as though it would be difficult to stealthily cut from behind -- believe it or not, thieves do use this technique to access a belt's contents should they ascertain that one is, in fact, wearing a money belt. The belt has a pleasantly generic, outdoorsy appearance and the heavy web material masks telltale bulges, which can happen if a belt is stuffed super full. The metal buckle grips the belt itself, so no pesky adjustments need be made while wearing it. The fans of the Eagle Creek buckle laud the plastic buckle as it does not set off airport metal detectors, but I found myself getting hand-wanded after passing through every aiport detector I stepped through regardless of whether or not I set off the gate-style detector, so the point is somewhat moot. Zipper is very sound. You're going to have to fold your paper money lengthwise and 'nest' the bills together -- otherwise your belt would have to be 2.5 inches wide -- but that's not that big a deal. I was able to carry 20 U.S. paper bills very comfortably in my Bison belt. If the belt is too long, the material can be cut and the ends 'fused' with a red-hot table knife. One of the best things I bought for my month-long journey through India. (Also bought the Eagle Creek silk money pouch, which is large enough to accomodate a passport and other oversize materials, besides money, but never used it. Opted instead to carry my passport and loose cash in my front pocket.) The Bison belt is a great value for the money -- low-key appearance, sturdily constructed, and actually holds your pants up!
