Pricy but worth it
Have worn these now for over 4 months and find them to be comfortable. I wear an AFKO and the shoe opens wide enough to fit the foot plate inside. I went with the fabric uppers rather than leather because I didn't want to have to keep them polished. I am pleased with the durability of the material. They stay looking nice. They are pricy especially since I have to add a 1" lift to one shoe which costs $100, but it is what it is. I would have to add that to any shoe. I think they are worth the extra cost in my case. They come with some kind of internal arch supports which are useless to me, plus some insole inserts of varying thickness which I was able to use in one shoe to tighten up the fit a bit.

More comfortable than I expected
I love these shoes. I have diabetic neuropathy in my feet and I have to be really selective with my shoe choices now. I needed a work shoe I could wear to the office. After a year and a half at home due to the pandemic, I couldn't wear slippers all day anymore! I'm surprised at how solid, supportive and how light they are. This stability is super important if you have balance issues like me. They come with multiple spacers and removable arch support, so you get get the fit just right for your feet. They are deep to accommodate your custom inserts. I bought a half size up because I wear thck cushioned socks. I didn't need to because the shoe material is a little stretchy. It's a thick Neoprene material, like a wetsuit. Very ingenious material choice. I don't have to worry at all about rubbing a blister in these shoes. I've never owned Velcros before, but I do not miss tying my shoes, I have bad fingers as well. They are not gorgeous, but look good enough with pants and they are easy to clean just wipe with a wet cloth and they look like new. The shoe is true to size and width. There is so much to like about these. They are more than worth every penny. I will order another pair or maybe two just so I will have these on my feet for years. to come. I will not hesitate to try other OrthoFeet models as well.

These definitely have great sole support
I have plantar fascitis and work in retail so I am on my feet 8+ hours a day. It has been difficult to find a pair of shoes that support my arch and cup my heel. I think the orthofeet may be the solution. I have been wearing them for a week now. The first day my feet were sore I think because they were getting used to a new shoe. These definitely have great sole support. They were sent with 2 different sized spacers in case your heel slips out or the toe box was too roomy. That was great because the toe box did have a lot of room that I didn't need and the spacer took care of that. Overall, I think these shoes are doing the job!

Shoe description meets expectation for comfort and style.
I ordered on 1/25 and delivery said between 2/2 - 2/9; but the shoes arrived 1/31, so thrilled. The shoes are comfortable with 2 additional 1/8" and 1/4" inserts for additional stabilization. The heel is a bit wide so my heel slides a bit, but thicker socks fix that issue. I have bunions in both feet and a knee injury, causing a lot of pain walking. Pleasantly surprised to find pain issues 95% resolved. Obviously my other shoes put me out of alignment, and these corrected the problem. They are also more affordable than other brands I looked at. Being on a tight budget, I usually have to save up for several months to afford new shoes. I definitely will order these shoes or others from this company again.

Go to a store where you can try them out first
I will start with the positive. The shoes are true to size and they look nice. I cannot say that I have experienced comfort and a perfect fit for everyday occasions, with specially designed stretchable uppers to make every step pain free. My feet hurt more than they ever have after just a few days of wearing them and trying out the different insert options. Of course now that I have worn them I may not be able to return them but how do you test them out if you don't. They are also very noisy to walk in, its like rubbing a latex balloon with every step and I do not like noisy shoes.

Expected more arch support
I have plantar fasciitis and high arches. I've tried a LOT of brands but my foot pain is not improving. I purchased these after reading some complain arch is too high, and like walking on a cloud, and foot pain went away.. I can't say anything about the pain, these only arrived today, but the other items are not true for me. I don't need to add any of the additional inserts supplied "in case of foot slippage" so maybe that's the "cloud" vs hard difference? I added the extra arch support bc without them I felt zero arch support! With them I feel some arch support.. but not enough for my needs. 90% certain these will go back but if I change my mind after trying them a week, I'll update my review. (Review Jan 23, 2025)

Comfortable
They are durable as I'm on my feet for many hours a day. The Velcro helps as I hate tying laces. Pretty comfortable as well.
