Can the interior be lit with solar lights? Is it open on the bottom and the windows?

Hi Thank you for your question. This house does not come fitted with solar. The base / floor is solid but at "ground level". That means that inside the house, the "floor" is below the door level. There are 3 windows, all 3 are "open", in other words, no "glass" . Also, the door can open. You may be able to fit solar yourself and feed it through one of the side panels? Kind regards Pretmanns Support

Hi Christy Thank you for your question about this fairy house and fairies set. Yes, the products are made in China. Our company Pretmanns is based in Australia and get the products manufactured in China and then shipped to the US and UK. Almost all products like this are from China and very few other countries have any manufacturing capacity for this type of product. Please let me know if you have any questions. Kind regards Pretmanns Support
