**Q: Can I use it on top of wood stains?**
A: Yes, it works very well over fresh stain, I haven’t tried it over old stain but I don’t see why the wood wouldn’t soak it in just the same.

**Q: Is this a good product to use for a small butcher block kitchen island? I plan to sand and stain first, then apply this product.**
A: Absolutely! Be careful with the stain. You want to be sure that it is food safe like Odie's.

**Q: How often to apply on new wood dining table?**
A: Normally, on wood that was not treated this should work for years.  I would assume if the table is in the sun you may want to reapply Odie's Oil again in a few years.  If this is a timing table you may want to use a polyurethane finish .

**Q: How long does the sheen last?**
A: Odie's is a low luster, more natural Matte finish.  Follow the instructions and you will be well served.
