Not bad for a Disco Phaser
I was pleasantly surprised by this, the sculpt is really good and As some one else mentioned the paint job is a little sloppy in some areas. However for the price you can't get too upset about it, you have to be up close to notice it and it looks really good next to the TOS Phaser from playmates. Now this being a solid resin peace it doesn't make any of the Phaser sounds so you'll have to mouth PEW, PEW, PEW or whatever, LOL. Still a nice item to have in your collection as I don't see a lot of options at this time for this. A great conversation starter if nothing else. Above all, Have fun and happy collecting folks.

I like, but...
As a collector of fictional weapons (phasers in particular), and I have been waiting for the last few years for a good, but affordable Disco phaser. Up until recently, the only ones available were over $500 or 3d printed, neither of which got me too excited. This one is nice, and I do like it. In fact some aspects are downright beautiful. Its just the right size for an adult male hand, and has some weight behind it, giving it a realistic feel. Oh, and it is smooth, like an androids bottom, with good crisp detailing. However, there are a few problems. The paint job is sloppy in areas. Look, I get it. These are resin cast and hand painted, but for $30 (plus shipping) I figured there would be a little more care taken. Also, despite the sharp features and corners, there are some design flaws. Most notably, the pop up target viewer is off center, as is the grip safety on the handle, and finally the back end is misshapen.I am reluctantly overlooking these things though since (sadly) no one seems to want to do officially licensed merch for a show 2 years strong. This will look great in my collection until... or if... someone steps up to the task.

Fantastic Stunt Prop
This is no hero-quality prop with working LED lights, but what it *is* is a fantastic, well-made resin prop, painted with enough detail that it could be a stunt prop on the show.Unpainted resin props used to go for $100-ish on ebay, it blows me away that this comes with a really serviceable paint job. It's very screen accurate and the detail far exceeded my expectations for the price. For $30, I really can't imagine a better prop.

Great but missing the colored stun/kill knobs
In general it’s a good price for the price point. No the paint job isn’t precise but for a handmade price I won’t complain, as from a few feet away none of that is noticeable. The one problem is the removable stun/kill buttons were not included, meaning the piece has a empty space at the top meant for them. I’ve seen another review photo showing the buttons, as well as the Amazon shop photos showing them so I know I’m definitely missing them. I get it, things happen. I sent a message to the shop so they can send me the buttons. I’ll give them reasonable time to respond before I have to escalate, and will happily edit my review to 5 stars if the seller is responsive.I will, however, have to drop the score if I fail to hear from them, or they choose not to make this right. Even at this price point, if you pay the full price you should get the full product.Update: A week later - no word no response. Nit the end of the world, but I hate losing faith in a retailer I give my money to. Shame, to have what would have been a good experience end in mild disappointment. Keep this in mind before you hand over your money.

Not bad....
Not a bad prop. The paint job is a little sloppy, but not terrible. Its a solid piece, so the weight was a nice surprise. Its a tiny bit undersized compared to the "offical" Anovos version I was stupid enough to pay $500 for, but at $35 this one is pretty nice. If you're looking for a static cosplay phaser, this is a good choice. -James

Excellent display prop!
I was really impressed by the weight of this product. Seems to be carved out of wood, moving or plastic parts, and painted very well. An excellent display prop, again, pretty impressive work, good value for your buck.

Spirt Quality / Missing Parts
The reviews are pretty accurate, quality is good enough for costume prop and not display. Had to order it twice because the blue/red disk were missing, and both times were missing, also the paint job was worst on the second one so I returned them both….again unless you need for a uniform (even then not worth the price) hard pass.

I thought it was the real thing
I went to a virtual reality Star Trek discovery away mission. When I put the goggles on and they handed me the phaser, it felt just like the real thing. So when I bought this item and I held it in my hand, it didn’t feel any different it didn’t look any different. This is just an excellent item.
