I wanted to give this product atleast a 2 week try before writing my review to compare it to Ultimate Digest, Papaya Enzymes from GNC and Green Papaya from Z Naturals store. I eat for my blood type and have a lot of digestive problems when I want to venture off the path and end up paying for it with major digestive problems. If I eat chicken or something I shouldn't i can still feel it literally 8-10 hrs later and feel sluggish, yucky of the sorts. I basically live off of digestive supplements, so when I got this I was curious to see if I could add in another brand to my supplements as I do like to switch it up or my body becomes to adapted to the same products and therefore doesn't work as well. Well Happy to say, this can be another option for me. I would say it's in my top 3 now. I can venture off the eating path or eat my fruits and chia seeds before bed, and when I take this, it helps me to digest it much faster as where I don't feel as if it's trying to make it's way back up my stomach. The price is not bad, though I have to take it with my largest meals so it's usually 2-3 times a day, but it does seem to help my after workout whey protein shakes digest smoother. All in all it's a pretty good buy and cheaper than my Ultimate Digest, with just a fewer less ingredients and beneftis, which most people wouldn't be affected by. It's not something you need to take with every meal unless you know you're going to eat something you have issues digesting or constant digestive problems.

I have used digestive enzymes for most of my adult life. I am lactose intolerant, have problems of varying degrees with beans, carbs, animal fats, some fruit and vegetables, as well as proteins and sugars. I have taken Lactaid, Beano, Papaya Enzyme, and many other digestive enzymes over the years. I preferred this product over the other similar good brand that I had tried before. which was not bad by itself It has shown to be more effective for me and my friend who has IBS. We both have severe post prandial bloating problem. I recommended these vegetable enzymes to her. For that reason.Enthusiastically, she bought two bottles of the other brand but it made her bloating worse, so she gave them to me and tested couple of capsules of this brand, and found it effective. I ordered the first bottle for her as a gift or replacemt for other brand that she had given to me. Enzymatrix seems to be regulating the BM although has nothing else but enzymes in its formula. I have been using the Enzymatrix Digestive Enyzmes for 9 months at the point of writing this review. I initially bought them for three reasons. I had lost 130lbs and was coming off of all medications as I was going through the weigh loss process. The last to go was Omeprazole for GERD. On top of that I am lactose intolerant and have never been good with taking lactase supplements when I would need them. The third reason was that I had been making weight lifting more of a priority in my workout routine and my intake of protein was up significantly. I had read that Protease was essential in making sure I was taking advantage of the additional protein I was ingesting. The results so far...I ran out of these about two weeks ago and figured I would wait and order them during my next big order. During that time without it, I ended up having to take the omeprazole two days during that time period and had a significant increase in gas and odor. This lessened significantly once I started taking them again and my wife would be the first to tell you about it. As a control, I am on a very strict and consistent diet, so I felt like I could pinpoint the difference once I reintegrated this formula back into my diet. Regarding the protein situation - I just don't know. There is no way for me to measure what my body is processing and what it is not. I can't point to any one factor and say that my results were due to it. But for me this is a great all-in-one formula. The thing I like best about this product is that by taking one pill you are protected from a reaction to a huge range of foods because it contains a giant list of digestive enzymes. I use them whenever i know i'm going to eat something with milk or beans in it and it always works well. I have lactose intolerance and beans make me gassy. These pills work better than any other lactase pills I have tried (lactaid, pharmacy brand, etc). They also work just as well as Beano for eating beans. I do recommend them for anyone who is lactose intolerant or takes beano, my son and I have both been taking them for over a year, they are very effective.
