Since I purchase this shoe a lot larger than my infants feet so that she could grow into it. This review is based on my observation upon receiving the product. I will update once my child actually starts wearing the shoe.There was no question in my mind about the quality of this shoe. It is made exclusively of leather. It is extremely soft, when they say butter leather, they were not lying. The color is beautiful very vibrant. It has definitely exceeded my expectations. If you love stride rite or Luca and livie, think of this as the "Rolls Royce" of baby shoes. It is well made, beautiful, soft, and ergonomic. Everything I wanted for a first shoe. I cannot say enough good things about it.The only thing I would recommend is that the company redesign the shoe box. It was very feeble and got damaged In Shipping. Shoes like these need a sturdy and beautiful shoe box.I would definitely recommend these shoes.Please do something about the shoebox. Apart from the style being adorable, the quality is superb with soft leather inner and an outer that appears to be made of suede, though I'm not positive. (I bought the red pair.) I chose size 5 for my 18 month old - she's beginning to grow out of her 4 - 4 1/2 shoes - and these are perfect as they have a little room for growth. I love that they can be worn in Summer and also going into Fall and early Winter, I can see her now sporting them with tights.
