Ok to start the box looks nice although it is smaller than I thought it would be :) Pros: • It has a variety of things you will need if you want to start fishing such as : o Offset hooks looks to be of a good quality (not tested yet, but can tell by comparing to the eagle claw ones)with light wire which is good if you are a beginner makes it easier to set hook but might bend if you catch a large one ) o Nice collection of Split shots o 4 nice jig heads, colors are not the best but I do not think fish really cares: D o My fav, is the three-way swivel, I believe most new anglers will need to have drop shot, as it is easy to catch multiple specie using it. o Other stuff that would help in catching catfish and other species :) Cons/Recommendations: Would have been nice to have the following even if it means less of the other stuff, • Triple hooks for spoon lures • Worm weights to go along the offset hooks To be honest most of the people buying those kits are beginners I would highly recommend adding a 2~3 paper with all different rigs you can do with those 187 items. (Drop shot, Split shot, Texas rigs, Carolina rigs ...etc.) Will give it a try on weekend and give an update on the Hooks durability .

I'm going to grade this product of a few different criteria. Price, quality, contents, and versatility. Price: 6.5 or 7/10. This is because for 30 dollars the box is quite compact and didn't have as much as I thought there would be. It has 187pc but It doesn't feel like there is as much as is actually included. Quality: 8/10. The hooks are sharp and won't be bending from any medium-sized fish. The jigs were nice but only 3/4 of the jigs had clean holes. Contents: 7.5/10. The things inside this kit will catch you fish, but there are some things I would've wanted to be included in a kit. We got 4 different sized offset hooks, and two different types of weights(bell and splitshots). I would've liked to see different hooks and possibly other weights such as bullet weights that can be used for the texas or Carolina rig. Versatility: 6/10. If this is the only tackle you've bought for a fishing trip, you won't have much luck. However, if you buy a couple things in addition to this kit, then you are increasing the likelihood of getting a bite. The strong points of this kit are its durability, its gift ability, how compact it is, and it's quality. There are many things from the kit I would've bought together and this makes it convenient to just buy as a kit. It also has a good range of hook sizes which means you can adapt to what type of fish you are targeting. With a few extra purchases, you'll be ready to hit the waters. The weak points of this kit are its lack of versatility and its price. For 30 dollars you can definitely get the right things for a fishing trip separately but it's a good gift to someone who is just getting into fishing. You might want different types of weights or a larger range of weights in order to adapt to the body of water you are fishing. All in all, I believe the kit is a good purchase and I'm definitely happy to be able to add this to my fishing backpack. Its small size is very convenient, and it has many of the things I would put in my tackle box.

Not 100% impressed as I hoped for. Feels smaller and I guess I expected it to feel filled but it was not.

Topfort has put together a really nice terminal tackle kit with jig heads, EWG hooks, split shot sinkers, colored beads, swivels, etc., all in a surprisingly compact carrying case. In fact, I'm looking forward to loading up the carrying case even after I exhaust the original contents because it's such a nice form factor. I received the kit just before a short trip to the Gulf and decided to use it while fishing from the rental house boat dock. So far I've primarily been using the split shot and the hooks because I'm mostly using shrimp and cut squid as bait, though I did rig up one of the jig heads with a Gulp curly tail and caught a nice redfish on it. I've been catching reds, black drum, large croaker, (one) speckeled trout, a ton of saltwater cats, a toadfish (freaky!), and even some large crabs. The tackle has held up wonderfully well, and again, it's such a nice compact packaging that it's simple to have with you all the time. The only negative I see--and it's a VERY small one--is that the split shot isn't the type that can be re-opened once clamped down. Having said that, it does the job nicely. This would be a really nice kit for someone just starting to build out a tackle box, though it's been an equally nice complement to my existing set of terminal tackle.

much more compact than i expected and thats a good thing! its well organized and seems put together well enough! definitely great if you are looking for something smaller or a compact kit for on the go, could also be great for a backpacking setup!

Exactly as advertised, all up to the number of items (I know because I counted). Neatly packed in a multi compartments case. Compact and light, so no problem carrying it in a pocket or simply putting it in a fishing kit. Not tested as of writing of this review, but seems ok compared to regular hooks and swivels. The swivels seem small though, not sure I would try for big fishes with those, but certainly good enough for light rigs and creek fishing. You can't go wrong for the price.

I got it in good shape and on according time, since it's very compact it has been easy to fit with my other accessories it has a very nice assort, very helpful my fishing bag its very small and with this I can keep it small, yet plenty to choose from this box. I will buy it again, I gave a set to my brother. And of course he loves it and is using it.
