Alice Madness Returns And Anime Maid Dress Cosplay Fancy Apron Costume

Great quality! The dress was full length which I find to be a problem with a lot of purchased costumes, although if you want it to be as flared as is it is in the photo, you will want to purchase a petticoat. I wore mine without a petticoat and was still very happy! Some reviews mention the leggings were only thigh highs but mine were full tights and very comfortable and soft! This saved me from having to get garter clips and I really appreciated the seller making the adjustment to the costume, I assume based off the feedback in the reviews. So kudos to them! No frayed edges and the sewing on the costume was of a very high quality! I even received the necklace as a free gift unprompted. I know some people complained about how the apron velcros, but I actually liked it. Didn't have to worry about getting it tied, it stays in place well, and you can't really tell unless you were looking for it. I am just under 5 foot and it hit below the knees a little. I am going to want to shorten it some but that's only because I am so short, I expect it to fit someone of an average size perfectly! Only negative I have is that I expected there to be blood spatter on it the way there is in the photo, but it comes clean and pristine white. This wasn't a problem and just my own silly expectation, so buy some fake blood if you want the splattered look!

So the waist fit perfect but the arms run a bit small and I can fit through but not reach my arms more than 90 degrees up (so not halfway to hands over head). The apron is too long in back and droops extra fabric past the waist by a noticeable inch. The tights were too small for my legs (I weigh about 137 with evenly distributed weight- not super chunky legs or all guy you know) and ripped in the crotch because they didn't stretch a lot. Not terrible and looks like the picture but some sewing required for fit UPDATE: The company contacted me and said that they were willing to give me partial refund. They were very helpful and said that they are looking into different tights and updating the arm size.

I’ll start off by saying that I don’t regret buying this outfit, however, the outfit that I received was not the costume that was pictured. (The Hollow Yves was missing and the so were the blood stains on the dress) And the sizing chart is all wrong too—I’m 5’7” and 140 lbs, and it told me to buy a size Large—which was WAAAYYY too big for me. I’m grateful that the owner reached out to me asking me if my purchase was okay, but the moment I responded I didn’t get a clear answer. I specifically asked them if it was possible for me to get the costume in a size medium instead and I never got a response. I was trying to get an exchange so I could get my correct size but I never heard back...I don’t know if it was something on my end or what, but I was not happy that o had to be stuck with a size that didn’t fit me. Luckily, I made it work for me on Halloween. Overall, the costume wasn’t TERRIBLE, however it was not what was pictured and the sizing was all wrong. Don’t think I’ll ever buy from this seller again.

The sizing is… bad to say the least. I ordered a size up from my measurements and it was still so small. I had to have my partner pry the zipper up to be able to get it. When they did it fit technically, but breathing was risky and I couldn’t lift my arms up. Then I put on the apron. WTF IS THIS APRON? It’s clearly a “one size fits all”. I’m a size 8-10 and it barely velcroed on each side. The tights are also tiny with noooo stretch to them. They flattened my ass completely out and I could not bend in them. The bow is also completely normal. The video game has a skull on it and I noticed when looking at the product today after trying it on that they conveniently cropped that part out of the picture. The material is cheap and thin with no stretch. NOT worth the $60 and I am returning it. I honestly want to cry after putting everything on, and this is my favorite video game in the world. It made me feel so terrible about my body even tho I made sure to measure and order up.

I really like the dress overall. I have a large chest and I got a small and it surprisingly fit pretty well. It shows a little bit of cleavage if you are worried about that. The apron also fits pretty snug around the waist with velcro straps. But I don't like how you attach the bow on the back, it only has a safety pin that you could use to poke into the apron to attach it, but it just hangs down and doesn't look very pleasing. I feel like it could look better if it was just sewn on directly or if it was attached through velcro like the apron straps. The TIGHTS on the other hand, they are NOT regular tights, they only hold one shape and have no stretch what so ever, if you have big thighs it will feel like you're going to rip the tights open at any time.

First, let me say...its not exactly what is in the picture. Its BETTER!!!!! Look, I paid $100 for this costume. I was expecting to alter and fix and add on too....that said, it was much better quality than I expected. I obviously have to add the blood and I've gotten ton of accessories to go with it, but over all, the dress is exactly what I needed for Halloween. I agree with a previous post, the tights are kinda cheap...but who wants to wear thigh highs all night anyways. I just bought regular black and white striped tights from the party store. The dress is longer than it shows as well. Which is perfect because only teenagers need to dress as hoochies for halloween anyway. I'm going for a character, not to get laid...this dress was PERFECT!!!! This dress IS ALICE LIDDELL!!!!

Great costume and well worth the price! I ordered this for our Daughter's bday and she loved it. I had to order a Small since the Xsmall was not offered with Prime Shipping. She normally wears a size 2, so I was a bit concerned that it would be a bit too big, but the small fit very well and could probably fit someone up to a 4 or 6. The dress hit right at her knees, which is good for her as she is special needs and I didn't want it too short. The tights are thigh highs, which I plan to order a full set instead, but thats only so she doesn't have any issues with them falling down while wearing them. I also plan to order a petty coat to make the skirt fuller. This is a quality costume and I would recommend it to anyone looking for an Alice Madness costume at a great price.

Bought this costume for my 13 year old granddaughter. I was very skeptical about purchasing because of the price and not being able to physically see it. But I ordered it anyway since it did look nice in the picture and most reviews were good. I must say the costume was well worth the money! Really nice made, quality material and the fit was spot on! The dress, apron and hose all are just quite pretty and so well made. It came in a timely manner also. I will give this advice, I ordered one size larger (figuring it could be taken in if needed) and I am so glad I did....this gave a perfect fit! So I think the sizing runs a little smaller. I now have a very happy granddaughter!
