No batteries. No worries.
This thing is pretty cool. I switched out a BSA Optics red dot for it. First impression, is that the sight picture is massive. I think it is ideal when shooting with both eyes open. I did purchase the polarizer and flash protector for this thing. I purchased the flash protector to basically protect the lens. However, the polarizer is an essential piece that really makes this optic shine. If you are in a dark space aiming into a bright space, the reticle will get drowned by the light. The polarizer lets you adjust the light coming into the sight picture allowing for a sharp sight picture. Once that is squared away, you have an awesome optic that functions in all light levels, with no need for batteries.
