Zenith Products ZPC Corporation EMM1027 Prism Beveled Medicine Cabinet, 16" x 26"

This medicine cabinet offers a lot for the price. From the beautiful beveled mirror to the steel body, it seems well made and sturdy. My house was built in 1990, and when we purchased it a year ago, the original medicine cabinet was still in the upstairs bath. It looked very old and tired, even though still functional. We finally got around to finishing up that room, and this cabinet worked out great. Finding the right size for the rough in can be a little challenging, so I was very glad to see some offerings that fit both the rough and exterior sizes we needed. The cabinet is heavier than the one it replaced, likely due to what seems to be a beefy mirrored door, but still manageable while installing. It offers ample storage and adjustable shelving, which was a must for me. The magnet that holds the door closed is strong enough to provide a very secure closure, but still allows easy opening. The piano hinge also allows for smooth functioning of the door. Installation was straight-forward, so not much to say about it. We just pushed it into the opening and screwed it in using the pre-drilled screw holes. Easy peasy. The appearance is quite nice. I appreciate the clean lines of the design and the beveled, rather than framed, mirror. The weak point of this cabinet seems to be the plastic shelves. They’re nothing to write home about lol, but they look fine, since they’re clear, and they fit and function as expected. But, as they are lightweight plastic, I wouldn’t be surprised is they don’t hold up. I’m not disappointed, though, as the overall build quality is quite good, especially for this price. So, I didn’t feel that it was enough to warrant a star dock in this otherwise good value product.

This medicine cabinet is huge. Very sturdy and high quality. I love the adjustable shelves. I put it in a very small guest bath that had no storage space. Now it has plenty of room. I like the mirrors on the inside of the door and the back of cabinet. This let's you look at your hair at different angles. I installed recessed and it solves a big problem of no storage! Why hang a mirror when you can add so much storage with this medicine cabinet?!

This cabinet fits perfectly as a replacement for our old recessed cabinet and it looks great. Be sure to measure your opening right to avoid having to return it. We replaced two cabinets in our house with these cabinets. One of the replacement cabinets arrived cracked. Amazon issued a prompt refund and the new replacement cabinet was delivered the next day. The installation is easy but requires two people.

Order the "like new" used and it came without mounting hardware and the package was falling apart. I'm surprised it made it. The quality is about what you get for the price and I touched up the inside of it with white paint. The shelves are plastic and weak. My mirror was scratched up in a top corner but won't be noticed. It does look good when installed and I put white silicone sealant around it to look like it was sealed. The measurements were accurate all around making a recessed install easy since it was 13" in between the wall studs.

This was way better than the Kohler mirror I got from Home Depot. It was also $50 cheaper and better made. I’d have returned the other one we used in the spare bathroom if I had known before it was installed. Heavy duty. Glass shelves. Mirrored interior. Solid construction. Perfect for our remodeled garage apartment. Came unbroken. I had it professionally installed. Too heavy for me and the hubby to mess with it.

Awesome size and the install was not too difficult. Removed a little medicine Chest with a mirror that didn't hold much. This is a quality unit with a lot of mirror inside and out. To put it in the wall, I first removed the cabinets mirror door, which was the majority of the weight, which was very simple just removing six small screws. So it would not weigh much to keep trying to insert it. It should have fit between twenty four inch studs, But I had to cut away some of the stud as apparently the house was built with them.A bit crooked for something. See pic

I picked this medicine chest up over a year ago for a bathroom in a small condo which was short on storage. Its a very well made unit that has a LOT of storage inside. The shelves are adjustable, so you can fit the tall bottles and the little stuff on appropriate shelves without wasting a bunch of space inside the unit. The unit itself is very high quality. The sides are mirrored along with the front, and the entire inside is also mirrored, including the inside of the door. The mirroring is flawless. The door was hung properly and I did not have to adjust the hinges at all. It also arrived very well packed with no damage. I hung this on the wall instead of framing it into the wall, so the mirrored sides were important to me. Be aware of the weight - it's pretty heavy. I mounted a piece of plywood to the wall first, then mounted the chest to the plywood. This allowed me to position the chest where I needed it and still have the chest mounted into the 5/8" plywood and then into the studs in the wall.

It’s a beautiful medicine cabinet & simple to install. The problem however is the cheap junk shelves. First cabinet arrived & I installed it before noticing the shelves were cracked. Called Amazon. Rep assured me amazon would send just the shelves. I specifically asked about that. Received a whole medicine cabinet. It’s quite heavy & large to have to drop off at ups. The shelves are very brittle & do not really sit well in slots. It’s obvious that the new ones will eventually crack as well. I had a $25 Home Depot medicine cabinet very similar to this for 15 years. Shelves never cracked & locked into place providing sturdy surface. Wish I could find that one again. *Update* Well here we are 4 months in use & both cheap flimsy & nearly useless shelves have both cracked with very little weight on them and are useless. Please DO NOT BUY THIS PIECE OF JUNK!

Well designed, the shelves appropriate for medicines, cosmetics etc, it is good use of the space. Doors mirrors useful due to wide angle reached by the hinges, overall feet’s our needs, excellent product

No se si es fácil o no de instalar, vivo en México y la mano de obra es relativamente barata así que es muy factible contratar a alguien para que lo instale. He de decir que se instalo con los tornillos y taquetes que trae y quedo muy estable, leí un comentario de alguien al que se le cayó pero no se como lo puso ni como era su pared. El mio quedó perfecto, es de muy buena calidad y bastante barato para lo que es.

Judging by the design, I think they're still using up stock they produced in the 1950s. But that's a *good* thing. It will last as long as my house will, it's made on this continent (at least the one I bought in early 2021 was... the company name has changed and the website doesn't say anything about making the product in the U.S.) , and if it's installed properly (recessed in the wall) it looks just fine. It's a swell product.
