Gold Lurex Polyester Yarn, 2mm, 90g

I love this yarn! Not only is it very glittering and sparkly it's also a high quality product. It's easy to work with and very substantial. It's offered in so many different colors that it'll be difficult to decide which color I'll use next! It's also a good value for the price.

My wife says this yarn is great. She crochets for the people at the nursing home and a lot of stuff for me to wear too. It’s inexpensive and takes a lot of time to use it all. Just being honest. She highly recommends this yarn and as soon as she needs more; she will order it.

I purchased this shimmery, gold yarn for my holiday projects. First, the yarn is beautiful and sparkly as I'd hoped. The results were lovely. I feel the yarn is a good value for the amount of yardage. The downside is due to the nature of the fiber, not the seller or the product itself. I began my project from the outside of the skein, which didn't work out. As the fiber is fairly slippery, the inner part of the skein kept falling out and knotting my work. I had to repeatedly detangle the yarn, even after trying to shove the center pull back in. The other thing to consider is that this yarn in not super soft and I found that my skin was getting a little irritated from the fiber. Again, not a seller problem...just the nature of the fiber content. Overall, I would buy again as I loved the results.

I have been searching for a replacement for Vanna’s Glamour since they keep discontinuing the colors I use (copper, gold). This is similar to that, but more sparkly. It is also nearly identical to Lincatex Gold Rush with more yarn per skein than their tiny spools. It’s perfect for what I need. Hope it sticks around. The “coffee” is what I ordered and it is a perfect bronze/copper color!

There is nothing that I dislike about this yarn. It is very shiny and pretty.

This works fine for my craft purposes. I've tried several metallic cords for kumihimo braiding and most were too stiff or easily shredded. This is about 1mm or less, not very thick, but several threads can be twisted together or mixed in with other yarn or cord to achieve desired effect. The price is good for the quantity sent.

Just what I was looking for. Great color.

I order this asking for a gol thread to crochet. This product is the worst foe crochet. I was specting this for a project. Not good.

I should have read the description more carefully. I needed it to finish an afghan, but when it arrived, it was a tiny ball with not enough yarn to do anything with. It was an expensive lesson!
