Both of them became incredibly unruly, spraying on everything, getting into brawls with each other, fur everywhere. The last straw was when one of them decided to mark me as his territory while I was simply holding him. I made several phone calls to the veterinarian’s in the area and they all quoted me north of $300 per cat, ridiculous! I even told a few of them that I would do it myself. I don’t make promises I don’t intend on keeping, so I straightway searched for these on Amazon and was pleased to see they were available, so I ordered a set. I grew up on a farm and we used these things for all our castration needs. With the help of my son, I was able to make quick work of it. Each cat let out a squeal and ran off. After that, they didn’t even notice. Since then their balls have shriveled up and fallen off. Their behavior has massively improved. They’re not spraying on anything anymore, rarely fight and are overall better behaved. I’m thinking about starting a mobile castration service to use up the 98 unused bands, maybe ask for a $15-$20 donation.
