Great for ravioli making, or pie edges!
I took a pasta class and this tool we required. I haven’t quite figured out how to use it in the best manner but so far I’ve used the edges to crimp ravioli and create wavy edges. It is not sharp, I had assumed it would be more like a pizza cutter sharpness but definitely was a thicker edge. It works well now that I understand how to use it, and the cost seemed good in comparison to others. The handle is wood, and has a solid feel. Don’t make the mistake of putting this in the dishwasher - it will strip the finish on the handle. Overall, this is a great addition to my kitchen!

Step up your baking with this
Not only is this pastry wheel sturdy and feels great in your hand, it helped me win my annual family pie contest this year! This took my apple pies lattice work to the next level.

Great buy
Works great cuts and seals the pasta. Well I’ve been making ravioli with it and tortellini. Shark gets to the dough whale and it held up to the dishwasher.

Great pastry tool. Heavier weight than I Expected. MADE IN ITALY.

This seem to me more of a cutter than a sealer
Very thin wheel which seals and cuts at the same time. May work well with dough but I wanted it to seal flour tortillas for empanadas. Need a wider wheel for that.

Used for Cheddar Crackers
I bought this to use for making cheddar crackers. I wanted something to help cut the dough that would make the crackers look more professional. This was perfect. It created a beautiful scalloped edge. It was easy to clean and work with. I plan on getting these for gifts in the future.

It’s good but I don’t think it’s Made in Italy
On the wheel it only says “Italy”. Anybody that knows a bit about the topic knows that anybody can put Italy, Germany, North Korea or any other country because at the end of the day it’s just a word and it’s not indicating the origin of the product. Real things made in Italy put “made in Italy”. Reminded me those counterfeit handbags Chinese try to pass for Italian lol
