And this is no exception. The handles are actually... handy. They make removal from a plug or outlet much easier. The contacts appear to be good quality and solid feeling. The 50amp side has solid contacts for taking a 50amp plug and holds the plug firmly in place. The conductor wire seems well suited for its rated current and does not get hot at all under load (like the previous one it replaced and many of the "cheapie" units do). Hint: Always make sure to use (a very thin layer of) dielectric grease on the contacts. This avoids arcing situations where the park receptacle is worn and loose inside. That will cause both the receptacle and plug to get hot, melt, and possibly start a fire.
