A fantastic book
This book is so well thought out and considered. It takes you from complete beginner, teaches how to read notation, includes practice space. I am so impressed at how well this is written.

Excellent book!
I highly recommend this book to all who are just starting out or have been playing this flute for a while and can use some tips. This is an easy to use and easy to understand book. There’s a second book by this author for intermediate and beyond players and I suggest getting both books at once. I’ve been playing for several years now and I can say both these books are very helpful and can teach you a lot. Including things maybe you didn’t think of.

Livre brouillon.
Aucune méthode dans ce livre, c'est un assemblage brouillon d'éléments jetés au hasard des pages. L'auteur commence par mettre l'accent sur le jouer ensemble, jouer depuis le coeur, jouer dans la nature, tout un tas de choses très bien en soi mais à un moment donné il faut aussi parler de gamme, et il faut attendre la page 45 pour voir aborder ce sujet. Le livre introduit aussi le système Nakai un peu plus en amont, mais comme il propose en même temps des partitions en système occidental classique, sans préciser de quelle système il s'agit, il devient complexe de savoir ce qu'on a sous les yeux. Tout est mélangé, mais cela semble être une tendance courante sur youtube ou sur les sites dédiés à la NAF. Au final le livre est décevant peu exploitable, et n'apporte pas grand chose ni au débutant en musique qui a besoin qu'on le conduise pas à pas, ni au musicien qui veut juste apprendre un nouvel instrument.
