Can this be substituted as a masher

I would not use it as a masher, it isn’t that easy to maneuver as a masher. I’ve used it for blending cream cheese and shredded cheese together.

How wide is the hand grip? Several comments negative as to size but no dimensions were given.

The hand grip is 3” long and it has a rubberized grip that’s really nice and is 3 1/2” around. My hands are smaller so fits them well.
