This issue good little egg cooker for the office. Makes the egg perfectly and efficiently. The second egg takes a little longer due to the pan cooling off and then reheating. Even when the top is closed to reheat it and after the light goes off once it is hot, it still isn’t as hot as the very first egg cooking session. Lol Again, it is perfect for an office, dorm, camper, boat, etc. I’d buy it again if it ever broke!

The official product pictures don't show how small this pancake maker is. Or maybe they do, and somehow in my haste to order an awesome pancake maker, I missed the size info. Anyway I posted a pic with kitchen items (and a business card) next to the item, so you can see just how small this thing is. It makes tiny pancakes. I was thinking I'd get someylarge enough that I can make my breakfast quickly. As it is, I have to wait 7-8 minutes PER PANCAKE. By the time I poured the last of the batter, the previous pancakes were cold! So this won't work for me long-term on a regular basis, but maybe on weekends or some days when I have plenty of time to kill. That said, this product makes its tiny pancakes well, and is easy to use, at least so far. I will keep it, though I will keep looking for a product that will make it easy to make a stack of small pancakes QUICKLY... or better yet, fewer but larger pancakes. I'm open to suggestions... Please write them underneath. Thanks!

I camp in my car and just needed something to cook with when to lazy to cook over campfire. Also past year, had some dental appliances that I needed to have warm water for water pik. I was able to use a small metal measuring cup to heat up water when I was camping. We had an electric site, but tent camping. I now make an egg almost everyday for my muffin! Works great.

If you want to cook an egg fast with very little mess, this is it. You’ll need to watch it so as not to overcook the egg, but it makes a perfect over easy or over medium egg if you put the top down. I have a waffle iron that works roughly the same way. You “season” it with a little oil, plug it in, and when the indicator light goes off you’re ready to cook. It’s perfect for a dorm or small apartment or if you’re lazy like me and don’t want to do a huge cleanup. I may end up getting one for my nephew for college.

A little hard to understand the heat process

At first I did not enjoy this product because I thought you could make two eggs in it with no problem but it will always overflow if I put cheese inside my eggs and it was shredded cheese. I started to do one egg at a time with a little cheese in each and it worked perfectly with no mess or spillage. I also enjoyed to make pancakes in this because it makes my homemade pancakes very fluffy. It does OK with the premade pancake batter but I enjoy my homemade pancake batter better. It takes only a minute to warm up and clean up is quite simple with just using a paper towel. I do wish I could figure out how to make two eggs together without spillage but I’m content with doing it one at a time.

I tried making pancakes the day after I got it. The problem is that it cooks too slowly and the fact it has a lid, it made my pancakes rubbery. Like it couldn't get fluffy because it was closed up inside the griddle and the moisture prevented the pancake from fluffing. So I said well OK, I'll use it for their mini quesadilla recipe in the book. Nope, it took forever for my tortillas to even think about trying to crisp, which they never did, I think it's the fact of covering it with the lid, and moisture keeps it from crisping. So with that failure too, I decided to find a small cast griddle to put on the glasstop stove and it will certainly do the trick. After 2 uses, you can see in my pic, where mine ended up. Just doesn't perform well enough to use and keep around.

Not huge but does the job well. Not great for making a family breakfast but great for an individual, quick breakfast

I gave 5 stars because it is exactly as advertised. It is smaller than expected but it works. It took longer for to make 10 mini pancakes verses a frying pan.

As the title said, while the appearance of the griddle is actually really nice and the overall size of the item is compact, it does carry with it some caveats. The first is that it cooks waaay too slowly to be useful. It took about 5 minutes to cook <100g of egg whites, and they were just barely cooked. I would assume that it would also take much longer than normal to cook pancakes, whole eggs and other foods as well. The second is that, while it is really easy to clean because of the nonstick coating, the coating feels like it will quickly deteriorate (even without using metal utensils), essentially making the griddle useless. The last is that there is no locking mechanism, which is really weird because the top just jiggle jiggles after you fold it down and will wiggle wiggle for sure if you move it around while it's cooking.* Overall, I would just recommend you invest in a good nonstick pan instead of getting something like this; it will be well worth your money. *sorry if you're reading this a year later and don't get whatever it is that happened here.
