Rubies DC Comics Superheroes: Superman Costume for Kids

I wanted my son to be the flash this year but last year he had an issue with his dog mask last Halloween so I picked Superman since it doesn't cover his face. This is a good quality costume. I did see some areas with "extra" thread but it does no harm. My 2.5 year old son tried it on and although it's slightly large, it still fits well enough to wear on Halloween without dragging it on the floor. He wears a 3t shirt and 2t bottom normally. The bottom of the costume has elastic that goes under the feet (inside shoe) to hold it in place. Finally, the cape is a great addition to the costume but the velcro seems to bother my son so he doesn't like keeping it on long. I believe this will last longer than just 1 day which is great so he can use it as dress up throughout the year.

A very elegant costume, and actually quite comfortable for a little one to wear without it irritating their skin. It's very easy to put on and take off, and it fits perfectly.

I purchased this costume for my 3 y/o son and it fit him perfectly. He received so many compliments (the muscles really made him stand out). The costume is soft and he was able to move around in it comfortably. I really like that the cape actually drapes over the shoulders rather than just dangling behind. Bought this for my almost 16 month old. He’s 30 pounds, 34 inches and the toddler size fit pretty good. It’s perfect for one or two days of wear. I doubt it’ll last much longer than that but he looks great in it! I’d order again since the price is right and my child looks super cute in it!

These fit a little large....I think. The description on here says the small is size 4-6. But the package says the small is for ages 3-4. My son is 3.5 but wears a size 5t for the length; he's tall. This size small is very long on him. I would guess the small can be best compared to a size 6. I bought this at a good price to save for Halloween so luckily he has 6 more months to grow into it a bit. At that point, I think it will work well for us size wise. Especially with warm clothes underneath it for October. Yes, it is your typical cheap costume material like the Halloween costumes you get at Meijer or Target. But that is what I expected. It is cute and will hold up just fine for what we bought it for. Some reviews complained about the "muscles" looking/feeling weird. I think they look super cute. They make the costume slightly more unique. They are soft and my son seemed very comfortable when he tried on/played in the costume. I bought this when the price dropped down to $15. This is a very fair price; in store @ Halloween Im sure I would have had to pay around $25 for something similar.

I bought this for my Grandson because he just loves Superman. I found the product to be much better than I thought it would be. He just loves it and therefore, I think it's great. There is however a WARNING that I would like to share with parents and it is as follows: there is a tendency for two year olds to "cop an attitude" when wearing this costume and it is extremely difficult to get it off them when it's time for bath, bed or any other reason you may have. They just don't want to take it off. As you may well know; two year olds can be quite obstinate when they want to be.

The little puffy chest is like a plastic inser that is built in and doesn’t come out. It was not uncomfortable for our two year old. It was really cute and we got many compliments. It is thin which was fine we ordered up a size and just put warm clothes underneath for our north east Halloween. The only issue we had was that the foot straps to go around his shoes did break by the end of the night but it didn’t really effect the quality of the Halloween costume. We didn’t even notice until he got undressed.

I bought this for our 10 year old who is pretty tall and slim for his age. (Size 12-14 costume) It is still a bit short in the legs. This is a common problem, so I won't judge too harshly there. One thing that is strange is the muscles on the upper body, though. They are not stuffed with cotton, but are actually stiff because there is a firm foam lining that part. They won't hold their proper shape because they came out of the package "smushed" and it held that same shape. My son isn't heartbroken over it, so it could be worse, but it does look really odd. One thing I did not like is that there were two layers of packing tape along the opening of the package that looked randomly placed, very much like someone had opened it then lazily resealed it with a couple lengths of tape. (The way it was folded on the packaging supported this. The garment wasn't faced out , but rather simply stuffed inside.) It was in no way factory-sealed. Overall, it looks like it will last for the day (unless he gets rough at recess) and that's really the point anyhow. This is absolutely a case of the price being right for a one-time-use product!

Ce déguisement a beaucoup plu à mon fils grâce à l'effet "musclé". Il est facile à enfiler et les tissus et éléments sont de qualité. En revanche, il taille assez grand (je dirais 4-5 ans plutôt que 3-4 ans).

My 7 year old LOVES to dress up. He was over the moon with his new costume. Apparently the colours wheee exactly right too! Quality is great as is the sizing.
