Works well.
Works well with my Barra pump rifle and lead pellets at 10 meters. Had this for a couple years. It was smaller than I imagined, but that hasn't been a problem. I use a larger backstop but have never missed this trap and hit the backstop. The smaller targets are a real challenge, so I mostly use the larger ones and the reset.

Great Product, One Design Flaw I Have Identified
I've had one of these for going on 7 years. Very early on, internal ricocheting shattered the white plastic spacers on the rods inside that support and catch the targets. Once that happened the target stopped working since the targets would no longer reliably catch on their hooks. I got some plain old drinking straws from McDonalds, cut them to the desired length, slit them down the side and just replaced the old broken pieces of plastic with the straws wrapped around the rods. The straw's elastic property prevents them from shattering and keeps them in place. The hard plastic used for the spacers is a design flaw, IMO, but is easily remedied. It's been more than 5 years since I did that modification. I've left this thing out in the back yard for months on end. It got a little rusty in places but it still functions perfectly. It's an excellent training tool, I use a 3' by 2' plywood backstop and plink in my basement to my heart's content. It has really helped my consistency, even at 7 feet these small targets present a challenge. I plan to buy a second one along with a second Crosman 3576 (a surprisingly accurate little shooter) so I can race with my friends or not have to hand the pistol back and forth while shooting with my wife. I hope I get as lucky with my second Gamo Rocker as I did with my first.

Fun "reactive" pellet trap!
Sometimes I want to shoot things other than paper targets. Tin cans are fun, but it's always nice to have a variety of targets. This trap combines several nice & fun features. It is "reactive". So, when you hit one of the circle targets, that circle swings up into the top of the trap and stays hidden. Assuming, you hit all 4 circle targets, all 4 will stay up and hidden away. In order to lower them for another round of shooting, you simply shoot the center square target - you don't have to move out of your shooting position! If you hit the square, it releases the 4 circle targets, which then fall back down into position and are ready for another round of shooting! The circle targets are two sizes, so you can challenge yourself on a bigger and smaller size target. The trap is pretty small. The photo on the Amazon page makes it difficult to tell what size it is. But, for pellet shooting, it's fine. Make sure you heed the instructions about safe shooting distance. Since this is a metal trap, there is ample chance for a ricochet or bounce back under certain conditions. Read the instructions carefully for safety. I have only used mine for about 10 shots so far, so I cannot yet comment on durability. So far, it works as advertised and is a lot of fun! It is very rewarding to hear that metal "clang" when you strike the target! The trap does have a few open areas on the side, so lead shavings from used pellets can/will escape when you move the trap around. This could be a problem if used in areas with children, pets, etc. (ie, lead poisioning). Just be careful to clean up if that is a concern where you shoot. Maybe these holes are there by design, but I take points off for that because it can create a mess. I recommend it overall. I will edit my review after I have had a chance to put more rounds into this trap, but my initial opinion is that it's a very good product! It provides "reactive" targets, while trapping most, if not all, of your pellets.

Soo worth the money!
I recently got a Ruger Blackhawk air rifle, 1000 fps, after a couple beers i saw this thing online and for the price i just ordered it, figuring it wouldnt last long, but for 30 bucks who cares. It was delivered a few hours ago and when i opened the box expecting to have to build the thing, i found a tiny little pre built trap, i literally laughed, it was way smaller than i expected but i didnt really research before i bought it, so my fault.. anyway before i even fired the first shot i took the top off and trimmed an old textbook to fit behind the targets and taped a couple pieces of wood to the front, took five minutes and made the thing ten times as durable. It works great, ive already put a couple hundred rounds into it at thirty feet, the targets are holding up fine taking very little damage allthough i did hit the back once and that made a really cool looking dent! NOTE: Shooting at this thing at 1000fps even with my modifications it wont last forever and without them it would last a month maybe, but keep in mind its recomended for 300 fps weapons, so after ive blasted this one to hell, ill be ordering another one, and although its not recomended it works great with airsoft guns, awesome for a bedroom shooting range, dont tell mom. FIVE stars!!

Small, Adequate, Shootable Pellet Trap
This trap is small but very servicable for use with a rifle or pistol equipped with a red dot or scope. 22 cal pellets will dent the housing. The targets are quite sturdy. Most of the 177 cal pellets were captured and about 50 percent of the 22 cal pellets escaped out of the front. I bought one used advertised as mint condition and it was badly mashed on one side. Obviously not properly inspected before resale. Amazon promptly adjusted the order. Excellent customer service.

Works Great for Me
I bought this to practice shooting my pellet guns in the basement. While it is smaller than I thought I'd like, I have yet to miss the box itself. The targets are also smaller than I thought I'd like, but that's what makes it a challenge. I shoot from about 30 feet away and it works perfectly. I wouldn't change it a bit. Some of the other reviewers commented on the plastic clips that hold the bars on. I had one fall off during shipping. I just clipped it back on and have had no problems since. I'll probably keep an eye on it for a while but I really don't see it being a problem at all. The construction is better than I expected. At 10 pumps with my Crosman guns it doesn't even mark the paint. The targets hold up very well and only occasionally fail to stay up when I hit them. If I was using this for competitions I might complain but for the price and intended use I don't worry about it one bit. I am very pleased with this target. If you're looking for a target to practice in your basement, this one is worth a look.

FUN LITTLE TARGET
This little target/trap works great for my 15 foot basement range. I use it for pistol shooting my Crosman 1377c and Benjamin HB17. Two to three pumps is all it takes to lock the targets up on impact with no damage to the housing. Provides good trigger/control technique without the high cost of using the .40 ammo Glock all the time at the range. The right bar spring was out of position when I received the unit and it took me a bit to figure out why the right targets would not stay up when hit. But after looking at the left spring setup and re-adjusting the right spring it works great. I think this is designed for lower power air guns and in that light I would recommend it.

Somewhat poorly constructed but works well
UPDATE: After purchasing the Gamo and being disappointed in the small size I purchased the Magnetic Pellet Trap . It is much bigger with much bigger targets. I'm much happier with it than I am the Gamo. (See size comparison photo) Original Review: Like some others mentioned, my trap arrived with one of the odd washer-type connectors missing. (See photo) This caused one of the rods to disconnect and was sitting in the bottom of the trap. I reassembled the rod/spring mechanism and replaced the washer that was found loose in the box. It works now but Gamo should use a more durable method to keep the rods in place. The trap is also smaller than I expected. I would have liked for it to be a bit bigger. It does work well and I'm pretty happy with the purchase but I do have some concerns for it's longevity given the strange washers that hold the rods in place.

volle punkt zahl...

Too small, too weak
I bought this for target shooting practice I had two options and chose this one bcs it us gomo, but two issues; Firat, it was way smaller than appearing in the photo. Could have used a real-size ibject for relativity Second, one of my air guns shoots through the metal. Now the box is full of holes I would return it but feel guilty because i used powerful air gun, but they didn't specify how durable it is. The policy allows the return but i won't, however i will not be using it anymore. Will leave it for my kid to use using his pepe gun

Buena para práctica.
Un poco pequeña, pero cumple su función muy bien.

Solid build, does the job
Usually fire at practice targets, but this is much more fun than shooting paper, much more satisfying when you have a goal to achieve (getting all swinging targets to stay up)
