It lasted me about 5 months or so with pretty decent sound quality on my OnePlus 7T. I used them with wired Samsung earbuds. After the five month period, the sound would be muffled. The only way to fix this is to angle the wire a certain way. It might have been my fault for tugging on the cord too much and just overall testing the limits of it's durability. So overall, I give it a good rating since it lasted a lot longer than I expected, but gave the quality I wished for. Just be careful with it. Don't tug it around like I did.

Okay, so the low price and with no moving parts, I decide to order this because what could go wrong, right? Well, the female (mini stereo plug) end of the first one I got was slightly too small to receive the plug correctly. It didn't seat snugly and, as a result, kept disconnecting while playing music. Meanwhile, the seller had contacted me to confirm everything was ok. I told them of my problem and within the week, they had sent another. The second one works perfectly and I'm good to go. I appreciate that they believed me and immediately fixed the problem. BTW, the adapter and cord are made of good materials - not cheap junk as I anticipated. Very happy with the purchase.

I got this when I upgraded to the Samsung Galaxy S22+, the first phone I've had without a headphone jack. It's an essential accessory so I can keep using the cable headphones that I keep in the car. I'm sure I'll graduate to fully Bluetooth in time but while I have a few sets of headphones around this helps me make the most of them. I've had this for almost two years and it's doing fine.

I got this for my GF to use with a Square credit card reader, since her new phone doesn't have a headphone jack. Didn't care about audio quality, just needed something to plug the Square reader into. Worked fine. She did try it with headphones and said it sounded good (didn't try it myself). There are 2 kinds of USB-C headphone adapters, passive and active, this product is an active adapter. Passive adapters just connect the analog audio from USB-C to the headphone jack on the adapter. That type will preserve the audio quality of your phone and won't use extra power. This product is not a passive adapter. Active adapters use a DAC chip to convert digital audio to an analog signal for your headphones. The quality of the audio will vary, depending on the DAC, and the DAC chip will use extra power, reducing battery life. So why would anyone want an active DAC adapter? Analog output from USB-C is an optional feature, and you know when something is optional, someone will leave it off to save a few pennies. Some phones require active adapters, like Google's Pixel phones and the new Samsung Galaxy Note 10.

I recently purchased a Google Pixel 5, which has no earphone jack. My prior Pixel model did, and when I bought it years ago, I purchased a very good set of wired earphones (noise cancelling, high resolution, high fidelity, microphone, etc.). I couldn't justify ditching those and buying wireless ear buds, so I bought this USB C to 3.5MM Audio Adapter. It is small with a braided cord, and works perfectly, with no loss in audio quality. I am delighted with my $7 investment!

This is one of those cables that require you to find the right angle to hold the device at and keep it there. Any motion can cause a disconnect which can make listening to music very difficult. The physical click of the cable going in is deceptively good and the cable does not physically fall out of my Galaxy S20 5G FE, but this adapter has proven very unreliable at times, though it has done much better in recent months.

This product fulfills the need for being able to use our excellent wired headphones with today's smartphones that are doing away with the 3.5mm audio port. I found this adapter to be very handy, and since my audio requirement is pretty basic, it met my expectations. And, saves me money as I do not have to buy a wireless headphone for listening to music. I use Bluetooth headphones for phone calls though

I bought one of these right after I bought my new Samsung, which didn't have an aux jack. After I used it for a few days, it seemed to work fine, so I bought several more: to keep in my car, to keep at my office, for my kids, etc. Unfortunately, after a couple of weeks, we all noticed a problem: they will intermittently cut out. This has led to a few bad situations. The first time it occurred I was in a microsoft Teams meeting with my boss and colleagues. I was in my car at the time and noticed that the sound would switch sporadically from my headphones to the speaker on my phone. When it was my turn to present, it was very distracting to try to address questions as it cut in and out. I've swapped out each one that I purchased to test and each one has shown the same problem. Not a good solution, unfortunately. 7/13/22 UPDATE. Now all three of these are either completely useless. Only a 30 day return window on this, so beware that if you START to see ANY issues within 30 days, I would return immediately. Or just save yourself the trouble and don't buy. Also, note that some companies will respond to bad reviews and offer to contact you to try to make things right but I have not been able to contact the company and I have not heard back from them.

A quality product from ARKTEK.. What can I say other than that this product has been made with purely customer satisfaction in mind.. everything from the feel of the material and the quality of it, to the sturdiness of both ends of the adapter . Aux plugs snap firmly in to place and remain plugged in and don't just pop out at the slightest pull or. It really does SNAP in to place and when it does, immediately you know that it ain't gonna come out so easily... Just hearing the sound of it snapping in immediately reassures you of that. The USB-C side of this product is quite solid and sturdy as well. It clicks in to place very well and also remains in its place very snug and doesn't wiggle or come loose the whole time that I've been using it so far.. Just to give you an idea of how sturdy and firm this little but tough,durable,solid and reliable adapter really is I will say this. I had my earphone in my ear while on a phone call which was connected to the Aux end of the adapter and the usb-c end obviously plugged in to my phone and sat my phone on the bench while cutting fruit. I accidentally stretched over and leaned to far when aiming for the bin and the cable had dragged the whole phone straight off the benchtop (mind you it came flying off telhe bench pretty quickly as I had turned toward the bin fairly quickly) but too my surprise I was astounded and relieved (phone is brand new haha!!) That the adapter was still connected to the phone and to the earphone cable which remarkably kept the phone from landing on the floor and just ended up dangling in mid air roughly around knee height... Trust me when I say that this product is well worth the money and no need to look anywhere else :D Cheers!

A like this adapter. It works good, looks good. Solid. But my phone is always complaining - please change it to original adapter. I just ignore it and keep using this adapter.
