I bought this as I bought new curtains and the tension rod I had was letting in to much light because it was not as big around as this one so while looking I found this one and seen that it was the size I was looking for and I have been very happy with it. I will say that it was a little harder to get to the right size but once I did I haven't had any problems. The ends of this tension rod is great and it hasn't fallen and is very sturdy. I would highly recommend this. Do keep in mind that when you first get it might be a little hard to get it to the right size but once you do it works great. I have mine in my bedroom window as I live in an apartment so this worked out great.

Ah the secret is in the order of the poles ...after a bit of head scratching we figured it out. The little paper isn't quite clear.Put the white banded end near the wall then the rest. End caps are easy enough - one end of pole assembly is large one is small (and the caps were cupped together when shipped) I'm not sure about very weighty curtains on our 141 inch span. We're using outdoors on lanai with semisheers. The wall texture is rough so I don't expect it to slide. But the pole is reasonably thick & looks good

This tension rod has done an amazing job in holding up outdoor curtains. Well made and very sturdy.

The rod is only few I saw available on Amazon that has long length I was looking for it works good and holds tight but it does sag a bit in the middle because of how long I extended it

I had to put up a curtain at an event and this bar was amazing
