An encore tribute to the Coomback legacy, the Coomback 114 is designed to be a light and playful powder slayer or a high performance touring ski. It takes on 104 attributes but adds more tip/tail taper and Rocker as well as sidewalls underfoot to give it solid edge hold on firmer snow. Powder TipDesigned to be more predictable in soft snow conditions, these tips are designed to strike the perfect balance of maximizing float while reducing tip deflection. These tips are designed with a gentle arc and transition into the sidecut of the ski.Tapered Tip and TailOur directional Freeride skis are designed with not just a tapered tip, but also a slight amount of taper in the tail. A tapered tip shifts the widest part of the contact further back to reduce tip weight and deflection in soft and variable snow conditions. The tapered tail allows more control as you exit the turn to either accelerate out or scrub speed as the conditions dictate.Carbon WebEnveloping the Mod structure with a carbon weave where the strands of carbon are laid at precise angles for an additional level of torsional rigidity on the secondary core. This keeps the ski light but gives you the additional torsional strength where you need it most.SnoPhobic TopsheetSince snow collecting on the ski can add pounds to a climb, our SnoPhobic tops keep you light with a new snow-repellent topsheet. The running surface along the bottom of a ski is hydrophobic by design, so we've developed a thinner version of the same material to use on the BackSide model-specific topsheets.
