HIBAR - Moisturize Shampoo Bar - For Dry, Frizzy Hair - Plastic-Free- 1 Bar

I’ve tried a bunch of bars and this is by far the best, starting with the shape! Flat bars thin out and break or crumble and for the last couple weeks you are dealing with a mess of pieces. This is ergonomic to hold and because of the shape wears down evenly. Good lather, good smell-not over powering and conditioner leaves my hair soft but not weighed down. I have mostly straight hair with a few natural waves damaged by coloring but it can get frizzy so this helps. Love this one!

I looked for a while to find a good shampoo bar as I started to transition toward a zero waste lifestyle. The shampoo bar is fantastic and is my absolute go to. It does not disintegrate fast or turn to mush, which is amazing as other others were just fall apart in a week or two. It creates just enough suds to make my hair feel clean, you barely need any lather to get the amount of suds you need. It takes some getting used to when switching from liquid shampoo, but it’s definitely worth to try! My hair never feels dried out or oily after. For the money it lasts well over month!

This and the matching conditioner are the only products iv found that dont make my scalp itch. Excellent product and eco friendly.

Pros: - No plastic! - Good lather - Good smell that is soft and neutral. Suitable for my husband and myself - Shape is easy to hold onto Cons: - I just can't justify spending $17.00 on shampoo (17 after shipping). I wanted to try this one out to see if it would blow my mind, and it just didn't for that price. Especially when I have found some really good shampoos that hit all the pros but don't cost so much. But still giving a good review because if you can afford that price, go for it!

I love this shampoo. I’ve been using it for a couple of years and it is very effective, I like the shape, and it does not disintegrate in the shower. My hair feels great! That said, I used to buy it locally and now it is no longer available in my neighborhood. The amount of packaging that it just arrived in is ABSURD. Product packaging inside a small cardboard box inside a plastic Amazon shipping package… no thank you! Will look for another option to source from.

I’ve been using HiBar moisturize shampoo and conditioner for a few years now. My oldest daughter, who has very thick hair, has been using it on her own since she was 7 or 8, it’s easy for her to use but not over use. I have also been using it in my toddler for about a year as she has a head full of curly hair. I appreciate the quality, clean ingredients, small footprint in the shower, and ease of use. No residue left behind, hair feels clean and soft and is healthy, and for the first time I was able to extend days between washes.

Good soap

Great shampoo. There’s a learning curve as to how best to use it - remember to get your hair REALLY wet. Smells nice and it’s great for traveling. You’ll never worry about it spilling in your suitcase or needing multiple “travel” size bottles for a week vacation. Leaves my hair super soft but not weighed down.
