Samsill Durable 4 inch 3 Ring Binder, D Ring Binder, 100% Recycled Chipboard, White, 2 Pack

This is the first time I've purchased a Samsill binder, but it won't be the last. It's a great quality binder. The color is exactly what I was hoping for, and I really like the clear outer shell, as it will allow me to label it by sliding a label under the clear plastic, instead of applying an adhesive label to the exterior. If I ever need to repurpose the binder, I won't have to worry about removing any adhesive residue. The D-Ring style is great too, which is why all of my other binders are D-Ring. I'm not sure why anyone would ever buy the old style round rings anymore, because D-Rings are so much better. They make it easier to flip through the pages, and they also help to prevent damage to the holes punched into the paper. It just makes the overall functionality better. The rings on all of these binders are easy to open, and they close tightly. Lastly, there are pockets on the inside of the front, and back cover, which isn't something I typically use, but it's better to have them and not need them than to need them and not have them. All together, I think this is great binder, and I'll definitely be buying more Samsill binders in the future.

Perfect for my need to use with a couple hole punched workbooks. Seems like it will be durable over time.

So, I have ordered many of their sizes, and I just ordered their 5 inch version. It is a lot thicker and frankly nicer. However, I am wondering if I paid full price for a used product, because the binders have multiple blemishes on them and black marks (I bought white binders). There is no way they got damaged this way just sitting in a warehouse. If so, they need to take care of them better because the product is very good, but the quality needs to stay good throughout the delivery process.

These binders arrived in a small box, and the two binders were nested in each other, with the spines facing outward on either side, to make the package small and compact. The binders themselves are good quality and construction, with D-rings that help with the ability to stack a large amount of paper without worrying about the contents falling out when needing to add more. The 5" thickness was perfect to allow for my use: organizing a whole box of user's manuals for restaurant equipment. I am a frugal person, so I searched for the best value for the money I was spending, and this turned out to be the best with regard to that aspect of my purchase.

I saw some bad reviews but to me this is great quality, thicker than I thought it would be. I use it for my cook book and its great. The binder clips are not possible to open using the tabs but I have always used the pull the middle clip myself type of person and that works for me. It's a pretty black to which is nice, very light weight and easy to use.

I use these binders every day, and the 4-inch size is perfect for keeping a large amount of papers organized. One of the binders has held up really well so far, but the other doesn’t close properly; I have to fix the D-ring each time I open or close it. Overall, they’re a good value and ideal for heavy paper storage, though the quality can vary between binders.
