Works great for about 3 months or so! It is definitely good for the cost! Also, the only collar that my cats didnt have a bad reaction to.

This is the second time we’ve ordered these collars! They work extremely well, we have 6 cats ranging in weight from 6 pounds up to 26 pounds. They are easily cut for small cats you simply put the collar on, secure it and do the “2 finger check” to ensure it’s not too tight and then snip the excess collar off with scissors. We had them all on and sized on all 6 cats in less than 10 minutes! I misread the first time we ordered them over the winter and thought they were only good for 6 months. But they are actually good for a year! Within 48 hours everyone was flea free! I love that they come with a reusable tin with a flea comb and tweezers. We kept them in the tin and wrote the date on the outside with permanent marker to know when we had to replace. We didn’t have anyone have any side effects or negative reactions which we have had in the past with mid level liquid flea treatments. I love the Selestro collars but they are so expensive that we would be about $500 invested to cover all 6. For less than $150 we have everyone protected! I love that they are all natural as well, they do smell a bit like citronella and/or lemon pledge for the first 10-14 days. But this isn’t an overpowering smell or bad smell so it didn’t bother us or the cats. We also have “break away” collars on our cats with bells just to avoid anyone getting outside because we live in a smaller city on a busy street and these collars if measured correctly go flush under their regular collars.

After use a reduction in fleas and ticks is noticeable, helping to keep the pet cleaner and more comfortable. Furthermore, it is convenient because it lasts for a long time, making it an economical option for a long run. However it is important to ensure that the cat tolerates it well and to check that it does not cause irritacion.

This collar work well without using toxic chemicals on your cat. It does not last 12 months in my experience. After about 4 months I needed a new collar to keep the fleas off my cat. I will admit I do live in a warmer climate, even in the winter.
